Aleksandra Hyży, MASc, MPH, PhD candiate - dietitian, public health specialist and soft-skills trainer. 👩‍💻

Specialising in communication and public speaking she has spent over 300 hours in the training room and on online trainings (at least that's when she stopped counting) and trained over 2500 people. Certfied DISC trainer, still gaining new experiences and learning to pass on the knowledge and experience.

She will conduct a workshop titled: "DISC - How to Communicate and Deal with Everyone?" 🗣

You will be able to gain a lot of interesting information from it and improve your skills, including:
1. Deeper understaning of differences between styles of behaviour and how to tackle them
2. Ability to communicate with respect of differences
3. Achieving goals with effective communication
4. Better understanding of one's own style of behaviour and what might help in effective communication.

Ph.D. in Pharmacy Sylwia Osowska
President of the Scientific Foundation of Clinical Nutrition Ambrosia 👩‍🏫

Sylwia Osowska has graduated from Warsaw Medical University, obtained PhD at the University of Paris. After a period of years spent abroad (Finland, Sweden, Singapore, France), during which she was engaged in the subject of parenteral nutrition, she has returned to Poland and is currently employed at the Clinical Nutrition Center at Pirogow Hospital in Lodz and at Warsaw Medical University.

She will participate in a satellite session and lead a workshop titled: “Is it possible to live without eating and drinking?” 💊

This presentation demonstrates the development of parenteral nutrition, from the infusion of wine and milk to the most recent complex parenteral admixtures that contain approximately 50 different components. What clinical situations lead to start parenteral nutrition? Can life have a taste without any taste in your mouth? Can you give birth if you are fed by perenteral route? These and other questions will be answered during the presentation.

MPharm Anna Waksmundzka-Walczuk, Independent Prescriber, Assistant at Warsaw Medical University. 👩‍🏫

Anna is a clinical pharmacist with experience in hospitals in the UK and Poland. She specialised in polypharmacy in physical and mental health and development of new pharmacy services. Currently works as a lecturer at Medical University of Warsaw.

She will participate in the satellite session and conduct a workshop entitled: “The role of clinical pharmacist in multidisciplinary team” 💊🩺

Around this topics we will discuss tips for team building for clinical pharmacist who has just joined hospital team. Using real life case study students will find solutions in different scenarios including clinical intervention for patient with polypharmacy. They will learn about practical use of EBM recourses to support their clinical decision. 🤓
