Hi there! LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF:
My name is Oleksii Pidlypenets and I am the founder of Tutors Across the Globe.
Outside of the company, I am a 🇺🇦Ukrainian international student in the 🇺🇸USA, pursuing BSc in Chemistry and Biology. By now I have completed several research projects in Molecular Biology and Synthetic Chemistry and deeply love these fields of study!👨🔬
When I moved to the US a year ago, I faced the struggle of studying in a foreign language, when there was no translator or a "pause" button. I adapted pretty fast to these new settings, but I was ready to do that, unlike many Ukrainians, entire families, who had to move to the States.
Experiencing myself the challenges that Ukrainian, Polish, and other foreign students face in new educational environments, I wished to provide a platform so they could study effectively in English and their native language. And this is precisely the mission of Tutors Across the Globe! We connect our students in the USA and Canada with the best tutors from their home countries, who are professional in the teaching field and English.
I myself have more than 3 years of experience in tutoring for high school and college students and, therefore, I am excited to supervise our students in Biology🧬, Chemistry⚗️, and Mathematics📈!

Hi there! My name is Yehor Zhdankevych and I am a co-founder of Tutors Across the Globe.
Throughout my career, I've had more than 40 students of different nationalities and age groups; I've taught at 4 different schools and have worked as a translator, too. Upon taking a look at the business side of education, here's what I found:
I've come to see what I call an impossible trinity: you can have a school that a) helps you with the teaching materials, b) that gives you a decent number of students, and c) that pays you well. Now pick two. But at Tutors Across the Globe we are determined to achieve all of the three!
It is true that many tutors choose to be part of a school because it provides teaching materials, textbooks, worksheets, or an online platform. Otherwise you would have to spend some time—anywhere between 15 minutes and 1 hour, unpaid—on getting ready for the class. Then there is the question how exactly you reach out to new students. Salesmanship skills become indispensable. (Though I loved teaching, I might not have been the best salesman when I was self-employed.) And finally, the pay: many aren't paid enough. Poor students can attest to that. Some, especially the very young and, admittedly, the least experienced ones, are paid well below the minimum wage!
We feel you and we hope to see you join our team.

The reason we created this school is twofold.
Number one: We value quality education for all👩🎓We believe that it opens many doors and we want to help our compatriots do their utmost to have these doors opened 🔑🚪
Number two: In times of uncertainty, we want to provide a stable and secure income for our teachers. Ambitious and young, they should have a say in how the school is being run and they should feel rewarded for their work 💸
