Indirect questions are used when you want to be or at least sound 😅 more polite. They are difficult to understand for, among others, the Polish language speakers as these kind of grammatical changes are not necessary in some languages. What you need to remember about it is that forming those more polite questions you start them with the expressions like. e.g. Could you tell me... after which you need to use the structure of the affirmative sentence. Moreover, you do not need the auxiliary verbs in indirect questions (do, did, have etc.). If you have any questions or suggestions do not hesitate to leave your comment below or drop me a line 🙂 I hope I’ve helped you understand it a little bit more 🇬🇧 @ Warsaw, Poland
