The strangest ways murderers dispose of bodies.
This post does not encourage you to imitate the behaviors described below. It is intended solely for educational purposes.
Body—for some, a useful tool, for others, a problem that must be somehow disposed of.
Killers struggle for years to find the best way to leave no trace behind their crimes.
Bogdan Arnold killed four women in Katowice in the 1960s. His method of disposing of their bodies was strange because he clearly couldn’t decide what to do with them. First, he hid them on the couch, then moved them to the bathtub, where he dismembered them. He hid some under the floor, and decided to throw others into the sewer. He was caught when neighbors became concerned about the unnaturally blackened windows of the house across the street. These turned out to be swarms of flies that had gathered to feast on the dead bodies of women. This earned him the nickname „Lord of the Flies.”
Speaking of feasts, it’s worth mentioning one of the worst ways to die: being eaten alive. Not necessarily by humans, but most often by pigs. This began in the Middle Ages as a form of torture. Those convicted were tied to the ceiling and the hungry creatures were let in. Today, it’s primarily used by the Mafia to get rid of individuals who were bothering them. There have also been cases where, after being creamed, the body was disposed of by being turned into someone else’s dinner. This is how Maria Chindamo, a 42-year-old widow who defied the Italian Mafia, was murdered. She was first thrown into a threshing machine and then to be eaten by pigs on her own farm.
As I mentioned earlier, some people consider a co**se useful. There are cases of people who repurpose them into everyday tools. One example is Leonarda Cianciulli, who was the first to sell soap made from human fat.
Remember, if you find a body:
-do not disturb the crime scene,
-secure the area,
-call the authorities!
