At the end of the project "Etnodesign - Małopolska inspirations", dedicated to children from Ukraine, we visited Krakow.
Where we were?
➡️at the Ethnographic Museum at the workshops Challenge – Clothes. We got to know the elements of folk costumes, we learned how the appearance of clothes is affected by customs, needs of users and fashion.
➡️ in the Rynek Underground (Historical Museum of the City of Krakow), where we immersed ourselves in the realities of medieval Krakow

We are already halfway through the annual project "Rich by nature".
The fifth meeting was devoted to baking home-made breadstuff. Children were the leaders in making the dough for rolls, greater involvement of adults was needed only when preparing the pastes for them.
Below is a photo report, and we invite you to the next meeting on December 10th - we will bake gingerbread.

As part of the "Etnodesign - Małopolska inspirations" project, we travel with a group of children from Ukraine around Małopolska to learn about the design traditions of the region. Last Saturday we were in the Felicja Curyłowa's Farm in Zalipie (a branch of the District Museum in Tarnów).
We visited a mini open-air museum - the cottage of Felicja Curyło, Stefania Łączyńska and the so-called a poor hut.
In addition, children decorated their bags with Zalipie floral motifs, participating in the museum workshop "Painted world - Zalipie".

Our last meeting as part of the "Rich by nature" project was devoted to silage for health. We have prepared cabbage and beetroot for pickling. Children found out how to do it, and adults found out why it sometimes didn’t work :)

Last Saturday, a group of children from Ukraine participated in a trip that we organized as a part of the project "Etnodesign - inspirations from Malopolska region".
We were:
📌 In Zagroda Maziarska in Łosie - weaving selvedges, we drew inspiration from the tradition of the Slavs
📌 In the Petrified City, where we plunged into the world of local legends and secrets.

At the previous meeting as part of the "Rich by nature" series, we organized survival workshops. We went to the forest to collect wood - the tutor instructed what would be the best to light a fire. Children together with their children prepared dough, formed and baked flatbreads on the fire that was lit together. Tomorrow, 15.10.2022, we invite you the next meeting, this time devoted to silage for health.

Project "Języki NIEobce" for children from Ukraine has come to an end. Its aim was to create opportunities for children to improve competences, which will simplify the process of adaptation to a new life situation.
Two groups of 10 children took part in two-week, daily classes aimed at learning Polish language. The meetings were conducted in such a way that besides language competences also personal, social, entrepreneurial and cultural expression competences were improved (key competences in lifelong learning according to the Council of the UE).
The project was implemented with the financial support of the Małopolska Region (Voivodeship).

The first herbal workshop as part of the "Rich by nature" project is behind us. We met in Błonie near Tarnów. In the nearby green areas we collected yarrow, field horsetail and comfrey. We discussed their beneficial properties with specialists from the Natural Therapy Cabinet “Beyond Horizon”. Both, children and adults made a herbarium album and comfrey oil. The oil will be ready to use about a month after its preparation, i.e. when the next workshops will take place - this time devoted to such plants as tansy, calendula, Canadian goldenrod.
The workshops will be held on August 27 at 9 am.

The first group of children from Ukraine completed a two-week summer Polish language course. Classes are conducted in an informal atmosphere, their diversity helps to increase the number of vocabulary in various fields.

The project "BeMyHelp - mentoring women returning to the labor market" received funding from the Erasmus + competition, cooperation partnerships, Vocational Education and Training sector.
Mentoring is most often used as a development tool for people who are already working and want to improve their competences. Now we want to apply mentoring as a tool for jobseekers, and the group we are focused on are women.
What are we going to do?
📍 we will prepare a mentoring model in the professional activation of women and a website with downloadable materials
📍 we will prepare a training program on how to implement mentoring in the organization (also in the form of e-learning)
📍 each partner will test the mentoring model in their organization
