Dear Friends,
Though we find ourselves afflicted by a special kind of malaise - post-conference blues, most probably - we wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to you all for making the conference happen and allowing us to see, feel and experience what was initially but a modest plan come into life and exceed our most daring expectations. Without you, there would have been no SUITCASE. We are humbled and touched, and say "THANK YOU" to each and every one of you who believed in us and joined us from near and far alike. Not only has the Town-With-(Almost)-No-Vowels-In-Its-Name ever experienced such persistent and torrential rains for three days in a row, it has most certainly never before been graced with the presence of so many outstanding scholars, writers, artists, travellers and adventurers.
We hope you have safely made it home (or to your next travel destinations!) and will look back on your Szczyrk experience with a smile on your face. By all means this is NOT a good bye, just a "see you later!" - it's a small world, after all :-).
We would also like to invite you to share your conference photos with us (via email or Facebook), as well as any thoughts, comments or memories you have of the time we spent together. In a couple of days we will start a "Suitcase Photo Gallery" and a guestbook, and we would love to hear from you about your impressions of the event.
In the meantime, we wish you all the best of luck and success for all your personal and professional endeavours, and are looking greatly forward to a happy reunion in the not too distant future!
