Dear astronomy enthusiasts!
After approximately four months of testing, we are presenting a new version of the ScopeDome driver. Today, we officially uploaded it to our website.
The most important changes include:
- new firmware for the control cards, which we believe is significantly more stable than the previous version,
- it also allows for simple configuration of the flap opening order for domes or rolloffs with two flaps,
- we have also fixed two bugs that were bothersome to some users.
Please note that the new driver version cannot be used without updating the cards with the new firmware.

Dear customers!
We are slowly finishing work on the new version of the ScopeDome driver. The main new feature in this new version will be full support for domes with two flaps (shutters) via the card firmware and PC driver, something we've neglected so far. You'll now be able to define the flap opening order, which will help users of domes with two flaps from other manufacturers.
We'd like to take this opportunity to ask you if there's anything in the driver's functionality you'd like to improve?
Regards,
ScopeDome Team

Dear Customers,
As of March this year, a new price list for our products has come into effect, which we hope will ensure a stable pricing level for a longer period. We have sent the new price list to our distributors worldwide and kindly ask them to update their own price lists accordingly.
In company news, this year we plan to modernize our largest 55M dome so that optional doors will be installed not, as before, in the rear panel of the dome, but in its side panel. This will allow entering and exiting the dome regardless of whether it is open or closed. For other types of domes, we are also introducing certain modifications that will increase their operational stability.
We invite you to submit inquiries not only by email, as before, but also through the virtual assistant on our website.
Best regards,
ScopeDome Team

We have published very detailed instructions for assembling a Roll-Off Roof observatory. If any of you are considering building this type of observatory, we invite you to read it.

The observatory's structure is based on typical aluminum CNC profiles (40x40mm) with walls and a roof made of 4 mm thick boards made of polyester-glass laminate. The high roof and opening front wall allow the telescope to be positioned above the roof drive line. Thanks to this, unlike many other str...
