University of Rzeszów: Developing skilled future doctors Discover the University of Rzeszów’s medical programme, where a safe, student-focused environment and modern infrastructure help future doctors thrive.

We’re excited to share that on 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟯, the Uniwersytet Rzeszowski will host 𝗥𝗭𝗘(𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗞) – a new event dedicated to young people in our city. 🚀

𝗥𝗭𝗘(𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗞) is an open city event aimed at young residents, designed to inspire, educate, and actively engage the younger generation in exploring and co-creating the city of Rzeszów.

The event will bring together inspiring speakers from the 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁, 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 to motivate and engage participants in the life of Rzeszów.

The event is organized by the City of Rzeszów as part of the 𝗨𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗯 𝗥𝘇𝗲𝘀𝘇𝗼́𝘄 – City for Young People project, in cooperation with the University of Rzeszów and the sports community, within the framework of Rzeszów being awarded the title 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

At the heart of the program is the “𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲” – a space for inspiring talks, live discussions, and dynamic pitches delivered by speakers from various fields, including science, sport, and social life.

📌 About the project
This initiative strengthens the teaching and clinical facilities of the University of Rzeszów. It will expand opportunities for medical education, increase the number of medical students we can train, and enhance the quality of pre-clinical and clinical classes. The investment will also enable more hands-on training using modern infrastructure—crucial for future doctors and medical professionals.

📌 Who benefits?
Medical students—especially those studying medicine at the University of Rzeszów—as well as the University’s Collegium Medicum and the University Clinical Hospital in Rzeszów, which plays a key role in training medical staff.

Przedsięwzięcie obejmuje inwestycje w zakresie bazy dydaktycznej i klinicznej Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego, przyczyni się do zwiększenia liczby studentów kształconych na kierunku lekarskim, jednocześnie odpowiadając na rosnące zapotrzebowanie społeczeństwa w zakresie ochrony zdrowia; umożliwi prowadzenia zajęć na najwyższym poziomie, co jest szczególnie istotne w kontekście kształcenia przyszłych lekarzy i specjalistów medycznych; pozwoli na organizację większej liczby zajęć praktycznych przy wykorzystaniu nowoczesnej infrastruktury.

Studenci kierunków medycznych, w szczególności studenci kierunku lekarskiego, podejmujący kształcenie w Uniwersytecie Rzeszowskim; Uniwersytet Rzeszowski, który kształci studentów w ramach Collegium Medicum oraz Uniwersytecki Szpital Kliniczny im. F. Chopina w Rzeszowie - podmiot leczniczy biorący udział w kształceniu kadr medycznych.

We were pleasantly surprised by the huge interest in our programme during this year’s 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲 at UR!

𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞, we presented the “𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡” stand, represented by: our 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞, 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐲 and 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚, 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.
