A Toastmasters Meeting… Outside the Box! 🏐☀️

Last Monday, we had a truly special University of Rzeszów Toastmasters meeting — this time, we left the classroom behind and met outdoors at the Rzeszów Boulevards, with SPORT as our theme! 🏃‍♀️🏐

It was relaxed, energetic, and full of laughter. We played dodgeball and other fun games, proving that a Toastmasters meeting doesn’t always have to mean sitting in a room and listening. Sometimes, the best way to connect is to simply play, move, laugh, and have fun together! 😄

But of course, we also had plenty of learning and creativity.

🎤 Ania Cieplińska took us into the world of fashion with her speech “Elegance or Comfort?” — a great question that made us think about our everyday choices and personal style.

🌍 Michał Harsan shared his thoughts on why learning foreign languages is worth it, reminding us that every new language can open the door to new people, cultures, opportunities, and perspectives.

🔥 And there was plenty of energy during our Table Topics contest, where quick thinking, creativity, and a good sense of humour were definitely needed!

It was one of those meetings that reminded us what Toastmasters is really about: learning, growing, connecting — and enjoying the journey together. ❤️

A beautiful evening, great people, lots of laughter, and a little bit of sport — what more could we ask for? 🌅🏐

🧠 Stone Age brain, modern teams – what an evening!

Last Monday at University of Rzeszów Toastmasters, we discovered that although we live in the 21st century, our brains are still wired for survival in small tribes. Understanding these ancient psychological and social mechanisms can completely change the way we communicate and work with others.

A huge thank you to Marek Dull, our Toastmaster of the Evening, who delivered a fascinating presentation full of practical insights into the psychological and sociological mechanisms shaping teamwork. But this wasn't just a presentation—it was an experience. Marek actively involved the audience throughout the session, inviting us to participate in interactive experiments that brought the concepts to life. Seeing these mechanisms unfold in real time made the evening both eye-opening and incredibly engaging.

🎤 The energy continued during our Table Topics Contest, brilliantly hosted by Martyna Poręba. Contestants challenged themselves with impromptu speeches, while the audience enjoyed creativity, quick thinking, and plenty of memorable moments.

As always, the evening was filled with:

✨ thought-provoking discussions,
✨ and a supportive atmosphere that encourages everyone to grow.

🎉🧠 Let's Play the Quiz! 🧩🎤

This Monday, our University of Rzeszów Toastmasters meeting was full of laughter, smiles, and positive energy! 😄

🎤 Paweł Kudyba, our Toastmaster of the Evening, prepared a fun quiz about our club and its members, while 🎙️ Kasia Rok led an engaging Table Topics session that kept everyone thinking on their feet.

🌞 Even though many of our student members are away for the summer, those who joined created a warm and lively atmosphere. 💙💛 Thank you for another fantastic meeting—we're already looking forward to the next one! 🚀

⚽ Sports, Stories & Inspiration! 🌍

Last Monday, our meeting was all about sports and the excitement of the FIFA World Cup!

Our Toastmaster of the Evening, Paweł Kudyba, kicked things off with an engaging presentation full of fascinating World Cup facts and memorable moments. We also had a lively Table Topics session, where members tested their spontaneity by answering sports-themed questions.

The highlight of the evening was Anna Cieplińska's inspiring speech, "Sky Is the Limit," reminding us that growth begins where our comfort zone ends. And just like in football, sometimes the sky really is the limit.

Last Monday, we had the wonderful opportunity to dive into a truly captivating theme: "The life you didn't plan." It was an evening filled with deep inspiration, heartfelt personal stories, and, of course, plenty of shared laughter! 😂
The biggest takeaway? Life rarely goes strictly according to plan, but that is exactly what makes it such an exciting adventure. The key is flexibility, openness to change, and the courage to welcome whatever comes our way.

🌟 A Toastmasters meeting with an international twist! 🌍✨
This time, we had a special guest — Heikki Siltanen from Finland 🇫🇮, who introduced us to virpominen, a traditional Easter custom. We also created our own virpovitsa during a creative workshop 🎨🌿
As always, the meeting was full of inspiring speeches, supportive feedback, and great people from different backgrounds 💬🤝
