On April 20th, our meeting was led by Szymon Bal, who guided us through an inspiring session focused on the art of networking — building meaningful connections, speaking with confidence, and growing both personally and professionally.
With engaging speeches and interactive Table Topics led by Julia Rozmus, everyone had a chance to step out of their comfort zone in a supportive and friendly atmosphere ✨️

This meeting, led by our Toastmaster of the Day Olga Ludera, focused on improvisation — choosing fluency over perfection and breaking the fear of making mistakes 💬
Together, we explored how speaking spontaneously can feel natural, freeing, and even fun!

🌟 A Toastmasters meeting with an international twist! 🌍✨
This time, we had a special guest — Heikki Siltanen from Finland 🇫🇮, who introduced us to virpominen, a traditional Easter custom. We also created our own virpovitsa during a creative workshop 🎨🌿
As always, the meeting was full of inspiring speeches, supportive feedback, and great people from different backgrounds 💬🤝

🚀 ✨ Toastmasters in the Wild: Real Projects, Real Results 🚀
We’re pleased to highlight our club member Julia Rozmus for her active role in the project C4TALENT – Creating a better environment for startups and businesses to attract and retain talent.
This long-term initiative focused on strengthening Rzeszów’s entrepreneurial ecosystem through Local URBACT Group collaboration, international exchanges 🌍, local events 💡, test actions 🚀, and the creation of an Integrated Action Plan.
As part of the project, Julia also delivered a workshop at the “BusinessUP! Green actions” seminar in Urban Lab Rzeszów 🎤. Her session, “The Capital of Confidence – Courage That Pays Off”, addressed how confidence, structured communication, and persuasive messaging influence effective pitching, negotiations, and stakeholder engagement — all essential in business environments.
Projects like C4TALENT show how important cross-functional competencies are:
– communication clarity and confidence 🗣️
– leadership in collaborative settings 🤝
– critical thinking and solution-oriented facilitation 💭
– the ability to present ideas to diverse audiences with precision and impact 🎯
These are exactly the skills Toastmasters helps develop. The transition from club meetings to real-world projects becomes natural when members practice leading discussions, presenting under time pressure, and giving constructive feedback.

We are proud to share that our club Toastmasters University of Rzeszów Toastmasters Club has earned the Strategic Leadership Award (SLA) in the first round 🎉
This award recognizes clubs whose executive boards demonstrate strong planning 📋, full officer training 🎓, and early progress in the Distinguished Club Program ⭐. It reflects commitment, teamwork, and a shared vision for growth — and we are thrilled to see our efforts recognized.
We had the honor of receiving the award during the Division D Conference in Częstochowa, held on 21–23 November 📍. It was an inspiring weekend filled with learning, connection, and celebration ✨
As a bonus, our board also won club-branded T-shirts 👕 — a great reminder of what we can achieve when we lead with intention and enthusiasm.
