When a gust slams into a foiling boat, the acceleration is violent. The boat launches forward, the foils generate massive lift, and suddenly the sailor is getting hammered by g-forces that make everything feel sketchy. Your body gets pinned, the boat wants to heel and breach, and keeping it balanced becomes a fight. The controls feel heavy, your weight matters way more, and one wrong move sends you tripping back onto the water hard. It’s that razor-thin edge where the boat is flying fast and out of control at the same time. In those moments, you’re not really driving anymore, you’re just trying to survive the ride and keep it upright before the next gust hits even harder.

How is it to be with a sailor? Maja said she would kick me out of the house if I didn’t wear Vaikobi!
