Theatre and Drama studies in English based at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland The students will also be offered some practice-based study units.
The aim of the programme is to give students a comprehensive knowledge of the dramatic and theatrical practices in English. The programme has been created as a response to the contemporary shift in focus from the study of drama as a part of literary studies towards the study of theatrical performance as a more complex cultural phenomenon. On the 23rd of May we had the pleasure of performing to celebrate the occassion of our Faculty’s tenth anniversary.
We presented a showcase of our interpretations of Shakespeare’s monologues.
It was a great joy to prepare it, and finally perform in front of a live audience.

Last week we had a visit from the University of Malta: dr Mario Frendo, the Director od Theatre Studies, School of Performing Arts in Malta had a series of lectures for our Theatre and Drama in English specialisation students:
