The Primary Years Programme /PYP/ is designed for students between the ages of 4 and 11 and is spread across various disciplines.
It encourages the development of the whole child, in and outside classroom. PYP students gain an understanding of the six transdisciplinary themes and they become aware how knowledge and skills are interrelated. They learn to think creatively and independently and they are encouraged to develop a sense of community and responsibility, not only for oneself but also for others.

🐾 Making a Difference 🐾
A team of Middle School students decided to make a difference. Independently, they formed a group and chose to support the cat adoption charity Koci Pazur, inspired in part by a recent cat adoption within the team.
The students planned the initiative, organised the space, and successfully raised just over 1,500 PLN for the charity. Their commitment and teamwork were truly impressive.
They were rewarded with one lesson off timetable, during which they learned how the money will be used to help cats, how to volunteer, and how the charity operates. It was a positive and lively session that sparked real curiosity and engagement among our young learners.
We look forward to many future student-led, service-based initiatives.

Last Thursday, during Cultures Festival, each grade proudly represented a different country. The creativity and authenticity were incredible — thanks to our amazing parents who contributed stunning decorations and delicious traditional foods!
The PTA added even more excitement by organizing fantastic dance experiences: a lively salsa course and a joyful Bollywood dance room that had everyone moving!
To wrap up the day, our Middle School students prepared engaging activities for younger learners — each connected to the countries presented by the PYP classes, deepening their cultural understanding through fun and inquiry.
A huge thank you to our students, teachers, parents, and PTA for making this celebration of diversity so special.

Our M5 and M6 girls have had an incredible journey in the Igrzyska Dzieci sports event – from the Poznań city competitions, through the state-level championships, where they became champions, all the way to the National Finals held yesterday in Bytom.
Weeks of preparation, weekend and weekday training, and countless kilometers have led to a fierce and exciting final race, with the bar set incredibly high. 💪
We are proud to announce that our girls secured 10th place in Poland for the International School of Poznań!

The first two weeks are already behind us, students are tuned in, and afterschool clubs are about to begin.
Wishing everyone a fun, inspiring, and fruitful school year ahead!
Our recent PYP Exhibition was a huge success, thanks to the hard work, creativity, and dedication of our amazing fifth graders. They showed their learning journey with pride and confidence, presenting their work to our entire school community.
Thank you to all the mentors for guiding and supporting our young learners throughout this process. And a big thank you to the parents and students who visited the stands, engaged with the projects, and made the event even more special.
This was more than an exhibition — it was a powerful moment of sharing, reflecting, and celebrating growth.
On May 31st, middle school and high school students from Wrocław International School and ISOP faced off in a badminton tournament hosted at ISOP. It was a fantastic day full of energy, teamwork, and great sportsmanship!

Our fourth graders turned into museum curators! After weeks of inquiry and learning about the human body systems, they set up their very own Human Body Museum. Each stand was a window into a different system.
They invited fellow classmates, teachers, and proud parents to share their knowledge. It was amazing to see their passion and dedication shine through!
