We are a group of seven students of English and South African studies at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. In February 2016 we are going to South Africa. We called this project "Chasing the Horizon Tour". We will see everything what we have learned about for the last three years. South Africans with a pinch of salt ;) Our experiences in South Africa confirm most of the points, ESPECIALLY the ones about braai and that "absolutely anything can happen on the back of a bakkie". ANYTHING.

Today we've had a busy day in Bloemfontein. We've visited National Afrikaans Literary Museum, Vroue Monument and Nelson Mandela's Statue on Naval Hill.Greetings from the swimming pool!

Today we've spent a wonderful day at Osskop Farm. The attractions included herding cattle, counting sheep, climbing hills and swimming in a dam. Now we're waiting for a Boer braai.

We've had an amazing day today. We started it by visiting Hoërskool Sutherland where we talked about Poland and sang with the pupils. Now we're staying at Osskop Farm. As you can see yesterday we also visited the famous SALT (South African Large Telescope). Greetings from the Moon!

We've just came back from another braai but we're sharing our photo from Table Mountain. The view was absolutely stunning. Our lecturer Karen joined us for the whole day in Cape Town. Well, just another day in South Africa.

Yesterday we visited ostrich farm in Oudtshoorn , where we fed ostriches.
However, Adrian and Michał were our heros yesterday, when they faced death in Cango Caves during adventure tour.
