Dear old & future students of mine,

I am starting my lessons in the new school year in September. I would like to kindly ask everybody interested in continuing/starting to learn English with me online, please let me know so we can establish the time. 👩‍🏫👩‍💻

I am cooperating with uNick Academy , all my students or their parents need to sign a contract with them because they are the language school I work for as a teacher. 🥳

I have been teaching for uNick Academy since October 2019. My lessons are online, non-formal, full of conversation and learning about different cultures of the world. The only language we use during lessons is English. I tailor every lesson to my students' needs and I have always had students who started off extremely shy, not believing they could ever learn English. I have had 5-year-old, 80-year-old students, students preparing for exams (PHD English exam, school-leaving English exam), students with Asperger syndrome, dyslexia, cerebral palsy, meaning I truly believe and work for EVERYBODY speaking English fluently. In the case of total beginners, my students can hold basic conversations steadily after coming to my lessons for 6 months. 🤓💌

I give homework to people who want that, I make sure all my students find the perfect game for them and that we always have fun. There is no stress at my lessons whatsoever, just laughter and interesting, new facts, thoughts and constantly developing skills. 💫💖

I provide various types of lessons. Group lessons are 60 minutes once a week or 30 minutes twice a week, there are 5 members of each group maximally. Individual lessons are 60 minutes once a week, 30 minutes twice a week or 15 minutes every day from Monday to Friday. I recommend 15 minutes long lessons to young kids, so they can get used to English slowly but steadily. I take Hungarian holidays (where I am based) into account and consider the holidays of my students' country of residence when planning the school year. 😍🧸

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, PLEASE CONTACT ME BY MESSAGING THIS PAGE ⬇️🥰

See you soon,

Eszter ❤

An online lesson with a punctual, respectful, great kid and his dad sitting next to him and the best description of pancakes 😂👌

I: What is your favorite food?
Kid: *gibberish*
Dad:*gibberish*
Dad: It's like pizza without the toppings.
I: Oh, pancakes?
Kid & Dad: YESSS, pancakes!

Hungarian Folk Tales: The Salt 05/03/2020

Hungarian Folk Tales are my jolly joker for tired or overwhelmed kids. I have never been more grateful for a series being translated into another language, it is a proper lifesaver sometimes. It is also a highly useful element in discussing tales that are present in every language and reveal a lot about the culture being observed.

Hungarian Folk Tales: The Salt When asked by her father, the smallest daughter of the King answers: I love you like the people love salt. The king is very annoyed and chases has daughter i...

The last to 2019. 🥰 Visiting the school for blind children and sharing about my culture in Owińska was truly an honour. We, the guests also visited the tyflopedagogical museum in the school, and got a tour of the newly renovated, modern school. I hope I'll have the opportunity to return. 🤩🙏

Friends - Grammar - Second Conditional, part 2 23/11/2019

I find listening exercises the most challenging in the classroom. Once the accent is harder to understand, most students get discouraged and concerned about their level. Assigning listening exercises as homework has never been successful for me. Many students tried to find transcripts to utilize, hence the original purpose of a listening exercise just perished. In class I can praise the students, show empathy and drop hints to get to the point. This, paired with interesting audio material is a mighty combination.
I used this video when we practiced the second conditional with a group this week. Let me tell that it was a success because it was fun and absolutely relatable.

Inspiration is essential in content creation, it is fuel to creativity. Since I love to teach with games, I decided to check out the Trade Show of Hobby, held in Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie. My favorite parts were the boardgame-section and the craft-section. Not only the physical results, such as boardgames, cards, pillows, bags stunned me but the great variety of ideas behind them. Seeing successful projects inspires me to realize the concepts in my head and not to keep them stuck. Overall I am content that I went and got the inspiration-kick I had been looking for.

Last week, on Tuesday I designed and uploaded my logo. Full of pink and purple, with an owl on it, it truly is my style. On Thursday, in class, after finishing the experiments, the cute kids went to the board and started to draw on it with a pink chalk. This drawing was my favorite, especially because they had no clue about this page. I was delighted I wasn't the only one who liked pink owls and I had no question that the logo would stay as it was.
