W obliczu całkiem sprawnego przejęcia kraju przez jesień 🍂musieliśmy odkopać parasolki ☔️. Ale czy wszyscy? Niektórzy wychodzą na deszcz bez parasolki, kaptur w zupełności wystarcza. 🌧 A Ty? Zabierasz parasol? 🌂

In a language course we learn to describe the weather ⛅️ in one of the very first classes. It's because the weather is a hot 🥵topic (pun intended 😁). That said, you may still not know that the word "wind" 🌬 is also a verb. 😳 Let me know in the comments if that's news to you. 📰
--
Na kursie językowym uczymy się opisywać pogodę ⛅️ na jednych z pierwszych zajęć 👄. Wynika to z tego, że pogoda to gorący 🥵 temat. Mimo to, możesz nie wiedzieć, że słowo "wind" (rzecz. wiatr) 🌬 jest także czasownikiem. Daj znać w komentarzach, czy wiedział_ś!

We mustn’t underestimate the importance of correct pronunciation! 👄 Even elementary words, if mispronounced, may cause significant communicative problems. For today I’ve picked one of the most commonly mispronounced words by Polish speakers of English - “dance”. 💃🕺 One seemingly unimportant vowel sound, but makes a world of difference! 🌍
—
Nie wolno nam lekceważyć poprawnej wymowy! 👄 Nawet najprostsze słowa, jeśli źle wymówione, mogą być przyczyną poważnych nieporozumień. Dzisiaj na tapecie jedno z najczęściej źle wymawianych słów - „dance” (tańczyć). 💃🕺 Jedna pozornie nieistotna samogłoska, a robi ogromną różnicę! 🗣
