Poznań is quintessentially a young person’s city. Here are 5 summer activities that are must-goes for any visitor.
.🌊 Lake Rusałka -- named after the irresistible nymph of Slavic folklore, this scenic spot is a staple of the summer season. Lay out a picnic by the sandy lakeside, go for a swim, or find yourself a paddle boat so you can soak up the rays.
.⛱️ Nocny Targ Towarzyski is a popular night market with your street food favourites and ethnic cuisine. A great place to chill outdoors and enjoy some music with your friends.
.🍴 City Park in the Łazarz district is your upscale neighbourhood hotel, fine-dining and retail complex. After some shopping, grab a cocktail while you wait to be seated for a delicious evening meal, whether it be steak, sushi, Swedish, or seafood.
.🎭 Back to the great outdoors: the brain-child of indie artists, KontenerART is situated by the Warta River, and is another excellent location for summer nights, concerts and art exhibits…
.🍻 But if you are more of a free spirit, stop by Przystań Warta nearby. Public alcohol consumption is not legal in Poland, except at this very location (“zone”). There’s no better way to relax on a summer evening.
