On the 7th and 8th of November preliminary measurements regarding plasma base deodorization of compost production facility in Goleniów too place. Scientists from West Pomeranian University of Technology (plasma unit and power supply units) and Gdańsk University of Technology (chemical analytics) took samples for several system arrangements and parameters. Two different compost piles from initial production stage were used with hermetization tunnels. Measurements will be repeated during several weeks to investigate raw and treated gas compositions and system efficiency for various production stages. GWiK personnell was used to prepare the piles and prepare the plant for pilot investigations.
