💡 What if a child doesn’t just learn how light works, but discovers the answer independently?
In Grade 1, it’s important not simply to give children ready-made answers, but to encourage curiosity and the desire to explore: “What happens if...?”, “Why does this happen?”, “How can I test it?”
During their STEM lesson, our first graders explored how light passes through different materials. They built their own flashlights using LEGO, programmed them, and used them to conduct experiments 🔦
This way, a simple observation becomes a real scientific investigation where children learn to make predictions, test their ideas, analyse results, and draw their own conclusions.
Through activities like these, students develop logical and critical thinking, engineering skills, curiosity, and their first programming skills.
Because STEM is not just about knowing how the world works. It’s about learning how to explore it and find answers independently ✨
