Our keynote speaker who will open our conference in a wonderful way is prof. Margarida Maria Ferreira Diogo Dias Pocinho (University of Madeira). The title of her speech is: "Positive emotions impact on stress, trauma and anxiety". You can't miss it!
prof. Margarida Maria Ferreira Diogo Dias Pocinho (University of Madeira)
Professor at the University of Madeira, Faculty of Arts and Humanities; attended international advanced courses in music therapy at Université Paris V and U.S. culture and society as Fulbright Fellow at New York University, USA. She is a collaborator researcher at the Institute of Cognitive Psychology at the University of Coimbra (Portugal), evaluator of project fellowships - FCT; 3 books and a large number of papers in psychology and education; has supervised 57 M.A. and 15 Ph.D. dissertations. She is member of General Council of the University of Madeira.
She was Visiting Professor at University of Zielona Góra, Poland, and member of its Research Centre, the Connectivity Centre. Currently, she is conducting research in Psychology of Tourism with a Project funding by ARDITI "Madeira tourist wellbeing" with the partnership of CIEO - CinTurs (future Research Centre of Tourism, Sustainability and Well-Being of University of Algarve), where she is an integrated researcher. She is also conducting research in the field of Positive Psychology and Creativity.

Leading the panel "On emotions in the age of artificial intelligence" will be Paweł Fortuna, PhD, who is an author of the concept and an expert in the field of Positive Cyberpsychology.
DR PAWEŁ FORTUNA (pawelfortuna.pl)
Psychologist, Assistant Professor at the Department of Experimental Psychology of the Catholic University of Lublin, lecturer at the Kozminski University and the SWPS University. He conducts research at the interface of psychology and cognitive science, and develops his own concept of positive cyberpsychology. Author and co-author of twenty books, including co-editor of the academic textbook 'Psychology of Business'. His latest book: 'Optimum. The idea of positive cyberpsychology" (2021, Wydawnictwo Naukowe PWN) was awarded the main prize in the "POZYTYW 2022" competition Polish Society of Positive Psychology.

Our next great guest at the panel on artificial intelligence is Professor Bogdan Zawadzki.
Bogdan Zawadzki: a postdoctoral professor, full professor at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Warsaw. He has published nearly 180 scientific papers and given dozens of conference presentations on the psychology of individual differences, the psychology of traumatic stress, and the therapy and prevention of post-traumatic disorders. For his contribution to the development of psychotherapy in Poland, he became an honorary member of the Polish Association for Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy in 2018. From 2013 to 2018 he was a member of the Central Commission for Degrees and Titles, from 2019 to the present he is a member of the Council for Scientific Excellence and from 2020 of the Psychology Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

We are pleased to announce our next great panelist will be Dr Barbara Konat.
Dr Barbara Konat is an assistant professor at the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań. In her work, she combines cognitive science with computational linguistics, exploring the emotional and dialogical aspects of argumentation. Her research on the relationship between emotion and argumentation draws on her experience from a postdoctoral fellowship at the Centre for Argument Technology at the University of Dundee, as well as her previous work as R&D project manager at the startup 'Sentimenti.pl', specialising in sentiment and emotion analysis. She is currently leading the NCN's 'ComPathos' project, which aims to develop a new computational model of pathos in rhetoric. She collaborates with teams of psychologists, linguists and information technology specialists. Her publications, appearing in journals such as Informal Logic, Metaphor and the Social World, and Behavior Research Methods, focus on the development of linguistic models of emotion and on the application of linguistic analysis in the context of emotion and argumentation. The Closer to Emotions conference has been held periodically since 2006.
These conferences bring together people interested in the issue of emotions in different contexts.
The main goal of the Conference is to present research results, to contribute to scientific discussion and to learn about
