At our latest Skillers Toastmasters meeting, we explored one of the most fascinating questions of our time: Could AI replace real partners in the future? Can people truly date AI? And could artificial intelligence become the “perfect” partner?
The discussion was full of strong opinions, unexpected perspectives, and thought-provoking ideas. Some people focused on the comfort and attention AI could provide, while others argued that nothing can replace real human emotions, imperfections, and genuine connection. In the end, one thing became clear: despite all the technological progress, we still believe human relationships matter the most ❤️
But that wasn’t all!
We also had a practical workshop about Time management led by Sergiusz Kuczynski. Participants learned how to use their time more effectively, identify “time eaters,” and build better daily habits.
And to finish the evening, we had an energetic Table Topics session inspired by AI. Participants received creative speaking challenges where they had to convince the audience when AI is better and when humans still win 😉
🏆 The winner of the improvisation contest was Alicja Maciocha - congratulations!
If you also want to spend your evenings in a fun, inspiring, and meaningful way, join us every Tuesday at 18:45 and experience Skillers Toastmasters for yourself 🎤✨

In Toastmasters, we don't aim for perfection, we aim for growth. And this Tuesday, we have something special for you.
We're hosting a Time Management workshop led by Sergiusz Kuczynski: someone who knows a thing or two about making the most of every hour in the day.
Sergiusz brings real experience to the table and will share the most practical and eye-opening tricks to help you take control of your time, not the other way around.
Sound familiar: too much to do, too little time? 😏 Then this one's for you.
See you tomorrow! 😉

At our Toastmasters meetings we explore all kinds of topics: funny and serious, thought-provoking or just a good chat. But the most important thing at our meetings is the atmosphere.
At last Tuesday's meeting, we had another topic that made us both think and laugh. We talked about how our New Year's promises to start doing something new often look very different in reality. We discussed why we make so many commitments to ourselves and yet so often follow through on only half of them, and shared tips on how to change that.
Our Toastmaster of the evening, Tomasz Zięba, helped everyone loosen up and kept the conversation going with great questions. Everyone was engaged in the discussion.
We also heard two very interesting speeches from Oryna Orel and Sergiusz Kuczynski.
Sergiusz is a new club member who delivered his Icebreaker, his first speech, his first emotions on stage, his first feedback.
To wrap things up, we had an improvisation segment led by Paulina Styś . At every meeting we practice thinking on our feet and speaking spontaneously on a variety of topics, and it truly helps in real life.
Thank you to everyone who joined us!🩷
We look forward to seeing you next Tuesday at 6:45 PM.

What happens when people decide to challenge themselves and grow?
Yesterday at Skillers Toastmasters, we hosted an exciting Demo Meeting. The room was full of energy, new faces, and inspiring moments.
Our goal was simple: to show how our meetings work and why so many people keep coming back. Because Toastmasters is not just about speeches, it’s about confidence, communication, leadership, and pushing yourself further than you thought possible.
The meeting was hosted by Alicja Maciocha and Iurii Slyva who created a warm and dynamic atmosphere from the very beginning.
We also had two powerful speeches that showed the journey of growth:
Lukasz Jezior delivered his Icebreaker speech - the first speech every member gives when starting their Toastmasters path.
Filip Hojda, one of our most experienced members and a multiple contest winner, showed what is possible with practice, courage, and consistency.
This contrast said more than words ever could: everyone starts somewhere, and everyone can grow.
To finish the evening, Petro Melnyk led our fun and engaging Table Topics session, where participants answered unexpected questions with no preparation. The winner of the improvisation challenge was… our guest Konrad!
That’s the beauty of Toastmasters: even on your first visit, you can surprise yourself.
If you want to become more confident, speak better, meet ambitious people, and grow in a supportive environment - come visit us.
Your first step could be one meeting away 😉

Being a new club member doesn't mean you can't be an active participant. It all depends on you: your goals and your ambitions. And we'll be there to support you every step of the way😉
24/04/2026
We'd like to introduce the most "senior" member of our club - not by age, but by how many years he's been coming to our meetings. Iurii Slyva first walked through our doors 10 years ago. And he keeps coming back, meeting after meeting, because he sees a million opportunities here.
Iurii has vast experience in public speaking and is always happy to share it with us.
So here's one more reason to join our meetings: to discover something new and unexpected for yourself.
A reminder that we meet every Tuesday at Baobab at 6:45 PM.
See you there!

We'd like to introduce the next participant of our demo meeting - Lukasz Jezior . He's a new club member who is already actively taking part in our meetings. At the demo meeting, Łukasz will be delivering his very first speech. Let's wish him luck!🤞
And we definitely hope to see you this Tuesday, 28/04/2026 to prove that stepping on stage is nothing to be afraid of 😉

Do you have impostor syndrome?
That quiet voice saying you're not good enough, you don't belong here, someone's going to find out, most of us know it well.
At yesterday's Skillers meeting, we brought it into the open. Members shared their personal stories, their struggles, and the strategies that actually helped. Honest, vulnerable, and genuinely powerful.
And that was just the beginning of the evening.
Paulina Styś hosted as Toastmaster of the Evening: prepared, warm, and in complete control of the room. A masterclass in facilitation.
Oryna Orel and Tomasz Zięba took the stage with speeches that reminded everyone why we keep coming back. Both delivered at a high level, and their Speech Evaluators gave sharp, constructive feedback that pushed the bar even higher.
Paweł Winnicki led Table Topics with questions that made people think on their feet and think deeply.
Every Skillers meeting is an experience. Real conversations. Real growth. Real people who show up every week to become a little better than they were before.
If any of this sounds like something you need — come and see it for yourself.
We meet every Tuesday at 18:45 at Baobab , Lublin ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście 39B.
Free entry. No registration. Just show up. 🎤

Skillers Toastmasters is a public speaking club, which means we learn to express our thoughts and ideas to an audience with clarity and confidence.
You can find out how we do it by joining us at our demo meeting on 28/04/2026.
But for now, we'd like to introduce you to our first speaker Filip Hojda!
