One of the strong pillars of the and programmes is our commitment to building and maintaining international partnerships with outstanding scholars and academic institutions 🎓
For our students, these connections mean more than international cooperation on paper. They create opportunities to encounter new research, engage with different perspectives and gain a broader understanding of international relations and global affairs.
➡️ A great example is our long-standing academic connection with Professor Daniela Irrera, Head of the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR) and Professor at the Centre for High Defence Studies, National Defence University, Rome.
➡️ In 2024, Professor Irrera joined our Faculty as a Visiting Professor. Our Head of IRAS and GLAD, Dr. Dominika Dziwisz, subsequently had the opportunity to continue this academic exchange as a Visiting Professor at Professor Irrera’s institution in Rome.
➡️ The recent ECPR Congress in Kraków, hosted at our Faculty, provided a valuable opportunity to meet again - and, beyond the congress itself, to discuss further plans for academic cooperation and future research.
This is what internationalisation means to us: not only bringing the world to our university, but also building lasting academic relationships that expand the intellectual horizons.
