Spanish beyond the classroom.

During Languages Week, our upper school Spanish students visited Instituto Cervantes to explore the language in a wider cultural context.

Students met the director, took part in a quiz about Spanish around the world, explored the library, and discovered an exhibition on theatre in Madrid.

A valuable opportunity to connect language learning with culture, place, and real-world experience.

A first Sports Day to remember.

Kraków Cosmo students took part in their very first Sports Day, bringing together the whole school for a day of running, jumping, throwing, cheering, and house spirit.

After preparing in PE lessons, students had the chance to put their skills into action across track and field events, from sprints and relays to long jump, shot put, and javelin.

The day finished with parent races and plenty of support from the sidelines. A brilliant first Sports Day, and a proud moment for our growing Kraków Cosmo community.

Kraków, dragons, and Cosmo spirit 🐉

Last weekend, Kraków Cosmo students, staff and families joined the annual Great Dragon Parade, one of the city’s most colourful traditions.

With help from the Art Department, students created their own dragon before taking to the streets with school banners and brilliant energy.

We were delighted to receive a special commendation for the atmosphere we brought to the festival.

A huge thank you to every student, parent and member of staff who joined in and helped bring the Cosmo dragon to life.

What happened after Goldilocks?

Year 1 decided to find out by writing their own sequel to the famous fairytale.

Their version took Goldilocks from the Three Bears’ house to a castle, where queens, princesses, Rapunzel and a few unexpected twists helped shape the next part of the story.

A creative way to explore storytelling, character choices and imagination in action.

A school community in bloom 🌸

At Kraków Cosmo, family moments are part of school life.

To mark Mother’s Day, our mums joined their children for a flower arranging afternoon led by Miss Blanka, followed by a performance from our rollerblading extra-curricular group.

A day full of colour and connection, and a beautiful way to celebrate mothers, children, and the community around them.

Maya, Class of 2025, is currently thriving in her Art & Design foundation year in London. 🇬🇧

How did Cosmo prepare her for one of the world's most prestigious creative hubs? Through the discipline of the 'process.' Maya finds herself using the sketchbook habits she learned from her Cosmo mentors every single day. 🎨

"Ms. Iwona always told me how important the sketchbook is... it has really helped me when I'm designing and sharing my thoughts and mistakes." ✍️

While Maya misses our small, tight-knit classes, she was ready for the independence of London because of the solid foundation built right here. 🌎

Skills beyond the timetable.

As part of our extra-curricular activities, students from Year 1 to Year 6 have been designing their own cuddly toy characters, choosing between bears and penguins.

They began by measuring fabric and are now learning to sew the pieces together, step by step.

By the end of term, each student will have created something of their own to take home.
