Sometimes Erasmus+ projects become much more than meetings, workshops and activities. Sometimes they become a space where people truly find each other ❤️

Today, during our online meeting of the DEAP project, we received some very sad news - our wonderful Ana will soon no longer continue this journey with us. And honestly… it is hard to imagine DEAP without her.

Ana has always been much more than a project partner. She has been a source of kindness, warmth, support and positive energy. A person who was always there to help, listen, encourage and make everyone around her feel valued and understood. Through every challenge, every discussion and every beautiful moment of this project, she brought not only professionalism, but also friendship and heart.

People like Ana leave something special behind them everywhere they go - memories, inspiration, laughter and the feeling that this international partnership truly became a family 🌍❤️

Dear Ana,
thank you for every conversation, every smile, every moment of support and every piece of yourself that you shared with us. We are incredibly grateful that DEAP brought us together.

You will always remain part of this project and part of our hearts. And yes… we are already going to miss you very much 💔

With love,
Your DEAP family ✨

✨ Here are a few photos from the ceramics workshop held in Cagliari, led by IERFOP – the coordinator of our project.

These moments capture much more than just working with clay. They reflect creativity, emotions, connection, and the power of art to bring people together beyond barriers and differences. 🤍✨

Our amazing artistic journey is still ongoing, filled with inspiration, learning, friendship, and shared experiences - and honestly, we hope it never ends. 🎭🌍👐

🎭✨ Exploring emotions through art in Poland! 🇵🇱

As part of the DEAP project, we recently organised a series of ceramic, theatre and dance workshops for young people with visual impairments at the Ceramika Zbychewka studio Zbychewka - pracownia ceramiki.

The workshops, delivered in cooperation between FRAME Foundation and the Łódzka Szkoła dla Słabo Widzących i Niewidomych Lodz School for the Visually Impaired and Blind, focused on one powerful theme — emotions 💙

Participants expressed their feelings by creating unique ceramic masks, each telling its own story. This creative process allowed them to explore identity, emotions and self-expression through tactile and artistic experience 🏺

The day continued outdoors with dance and theatre activities, where participants engaged in movement, expression and group interaction. These sessions created a safe and inclusive space to build confidence, creativity and connection 💃🎭

This is what DEAP is all about — empowering young people through the arts, breaking barriers and creating meaningful, inclusive experiences ✨

💃✨ Dance, movement & empowerment in Sweden! 🇸🇪

We are excited to share highlights from the local dance workshops in Sweden, organised by Sensus Stockholm-Gotland as part of the DEAP project!

The course brought together a wonderful group of young people with visual impairments (aged 14–30), who explored movement, body awareness and self-expression through dance. The sessions began with simple exercises focused on building confidence and connection with one’s body — and the results were truly inspiring!

After just three sessions, participants’ enthusiasm for dance and movement grew so much that Sensus has decided to continue the course — what a fantastic outcome! 🙌

The workshops were led by Saila, who previously took part in the DEAP international training in Brno. Thanks to this experience, she was able to design engaging sessions combining dance, yoga and mindful movement, tailored to the needs of the participants.

This is exactly what DEAP is about — creating inclusive, empowering spaces where young people can grow, express themselves and build confidence through the arts. 🎭💙

🧡 We've now completed 2 of our 3 local ceramic workshops in Sweden as part of the DEAP project — and what a journey it has been!

What began with some hesitation around getting messy has slowly turned into curiosity, courage, and creativity ✨ Through these workshops, participants are not only learning new techniques in clay — they are also getting closer to art in new ways.
Together, we've created a safe and welcoming space where everyone can try, explore, and create at their own pace. So far, we've made a cup and a fruit, which are now in the kiln 🔥

On April 23 all participants will get to hold their finished pieces, explore the choosen colours of it and create one final artwork using air-drying clay.

Some reflections from our participants 💬
Daniel: "Fun to make sculpture, fun to be part of the community."
Isak: "I don't have a close relationship to creating and rarely think of doing it on my own. But it's fun to be here and create. I look forward to it and to getting closer to art."

It's inspiring to see how creativity can open new doors — to art, to community, and to self-expression 🤍

🇨🇾 The 3rd Transnational Partner Meeting of the DEAP project has successfully concluded in Limassol!

🇨🇾 Over the past two days, partners gathered to review progress and plan the next steps of“Nurturing Personal Development and Empowerment of Young People with Visual Impairment through Arts Education.”

💬 We discussed key project areas — from dissemination activities and video materials 🎥, through development of training modules and the online platform 💻, to quality assurance ✔️, social impact 🌍, and future milestones 🗺️.🎨 A major focus was also the preparation of the upcoming national local workshops, where young people with visual impairments will take part in arts-based learning activities across partner countries.

🤝 Face-to-face collaboration once again proved invaluable for exchanging ideas and strengthening our shared commitment to inclusive arts education.

🌊 After the meeting, we also had a moment to explore and enjoy the charm of Limassol — a perfect way to conclude an inspiring gathering.

🙏 Thank you to our hosts Reset Reset for the warm welcome!

✨ Last DEAP Online Meeting of the Year | Looking Back & Moving Forward ✨

Day 6 – Wrapping Up the Journey | DEAP Project 💛🎭

Our final day in Kraków marked the closing chapter of this inspiring DEAP adventure — a week full of learning, creativity, and connection.

We started the morning with energizing icebreakers led by PELICAN, a joyful way to wake up, share smiles, and reflect on everything we had experienced together. 🌞💬

Then we gathered for a round table discussion with FRAME and PRISM, exploring ideas on how to further develop local theatre workshops and bring inclusive artistic practices to our communities. 🎭💡

After that, PRISM guided us through a quality check session to ensure that all parts of the training met the project’s standards, and finally, SENSUS led a reflective session — evaluating the week, sharing insights, and discussing ways to keep the DEAP spirit alive beyond this mobility. ✨

It was a heartfelt ending to a week that reminded us what collaboration, inclusion, and creativity can achieve when we come together with an open mind and heart. 💫

Day 5 – Theatre Beyond Sight | DEAP Project 🎭💫

Our fifth day of the DEAP Project in Kraków was all about creativity, expression, and inclusion through theatre — showing us once again that art has no boundaries.

We began the morning with some fun and energizing icebreakers led by RESET, helping us wake up, connect, and get into the right creative mindset. ☀️💬

Then came the highlight of the day — a practical theatre workshop with Maciej Sikorski, Director of the renowned EXIT Theatre. Through hands-on activities and group exercises, we explored how theatrical expression can be adapted for people with visual impairments, focusing on movement, voice, rhythm, and emotional awareness rather than sight alone.

After a short coffee break ☕️, we continued working together — learning how theatre can become a space of empathy, collaboration, and inclusion, where everyone has a voice and a presence, no matter their abilities. 🎭🖤

It was a powerful and inspiring day that reminded us how creativity can connect people beyond words — and beyond sight. ✨
