In the grand scheme of things, three years might not seem like much, but "academic" years are often so packed with activities, feats and ventures that it is only natural to feel a bit overwhelmed.

At we are at the end of a project, but hopefully commencing a programme, we're concluding our collective work, but kick-starting our inter-university cooperation, theses are about to be submitted and defended, but it's just the tip of the iceberg as far as research is concerned, PhDs are ending but careers are on the making.

Rules have been questioned, norms have been stretched, the road was not void of mistakes, failures and frustrations, but we've made amends and gain resilience and experience. Change is inevitable and we're now more prepared to embrace it.

But enough has been said from our side, it's only fair to let the Young, Ambitions & Brave say the rest.

Today we had the opportunity to gather staff, faculty and PhD candidates in the first day of the final symposium of the European Joint Doctorate Food Science in Brewing & Malting.
