VIII PALO International Baccalaureate School - Kraków (Poland)

On May 31, last Saturday, a run promoting a healthy lifestyle took place on Kraków’s Błonia Commons. The event was combined with another charitable initiative—a public awareness campaign about fundraising for a sports camp for children with disabilities, organized by the AHA Foundation. Our initiative attracted the attention not only of the school community but also of passersby, whom we informed about the activities of the Erasmus Plus Club at VIII PALO. The run, led by Mr. Wojciech Micygała and Mr. Bartłomiej Adler, was accompanied by a mini picnic, for which the participants prepared healthy snacks. After the event, a portion of the refreshments was delivered to the community fridge in the Szkolne housing estate. All of this was part of the Erasmus Plus project: Think Globally, Act Locally 2, in which we are participating alongside schools from Spain, Norway, Slovakia, and Slovenia.

We wanted to inform you that the work on our school is still ongoing. DP2 students have successfully completed their CAS requirements and have finished or are finishing their exams. DP1 students are currently discussing the results of their CAS programme and are moving forward with their work.
