🇵🇱🌍 EASST2026 trwa w najlepsze! Za nami kolejne dwa intensywne dni konferencji – pełne paneli, warsztatów, spotkań, rozmów i okazji do wymiany pomysłów. Kampus AGH stał się miejscem spotkania badaczek i badaczy zajmujących się nauką, technologią i społeczeństwem z całego świata. 💙
Wśród poruszanych tematów znalazły się m.in. przyszłości technologiczne, partycypacja, etyka, środowisko i nowe sposoby prowadzenia badań. Ważnym punktem dnia była druga sesja plenarna „Out Of Silos”, poświęcona relacjom między nauką, technologią i społeczeństwem. 🔬🤝
Na scenie wystąpili m.in. 🎶💃
W dyskusji udział wzięli Koert van Mensvoort i Anna Olszewska, a moderował ją Jacek Gądecki. 🌱🤖
Tego samego dnia odbyła się również ceremonia EASST Awards, Annual General Meeting oraz wydarzenia towarzyszące, w tym SCI BARS: „More than now” w Hevre – spotkanie, podczas którego badania i rozmowy o nauce i technologii wyszły poza sale konferencyjne i trafiły prosto do krakowskiego miasta. 🧠🍻
A przed nami jeszcze ostatni dzień konferencji!

🇬🇧🌍 EASST2026 is in full swing! Two more intense conference days are already behind us – filled with panels, workshops, meetings, discussions and opportunities to exchange ideas. The AGH campus has become a meeting place for researchers from around the world working across science, technology and society. 💙
On Wednesday, 9 September, the conference gained even more momentum. From the morning onwards, participants took part in panel sessions and Making & Doing activities – formats that encourage not only discussion, but also experimentation with methods, participant engagement and collaborative knowledge-making. The programme explored a wide range of topics, including technological futures, participation, ethics, the environment and new ways of conducting research. One of the highlights of the day was the second plenary session, “Out Of Silos”, focusing on the relationships between science, technology and society.🔬🤝
In the evening, it was time to experience another side of EASST2026! The EASST Social Event took place at Klub Studio, bringing together music, conversations and plenty of opportunities to connect. Paula & Karol performed live, giving participants a chance to take a break from the busy conference schedule and simply spend time together. 🎶💃
Thursday, 10 September, brought another full programme of sessions, meetings and discussions, as well as the third plenary session, “Next Natures”. This time, the conversation focused on the relationships between technology, environments and the more-than-human world. Participants reflected on how technologies not only operate within particular environments, but can also begin to shape and produce environments of their own – and what kinds of “next natures” we actually want to create together. The discussion featured Koert van Mensvoort and Anna Olszewska, with Jacek Gądecki as moderator. 🌱🤖
The day also included the EASST Awards, the Annual General Meeting and accompanying events, including SCI BARS: “More than now” at Hevre – an evening that brought conversations about science and technology beyond the conference rooms and into the city of Kraków. 🧠🍻
These two days of EASST2026 once again showed that a conference is about much more than presentations and panels. It is also about experimentation, conversations across disciplines, new connections, music, art and encounters that often continue long after the official programme ends. 💙
And there is still one more conference day to go!
