To już jutro! 🎉 Serdecznie polecamy i zapraszamy 😊📣
[PL] 🇵🇱 [EN] 🇬🇧 W środę, 15 kwietnia, zapraszamy na kolejne spotkanie w ramach międzynarodowego seminarium z dr Moniką Adamczyk-Enriquez (Archiwum Edyty Stein) pt. "Etyczno-antropologiczne i religijne horyzonty fenomenologii Edmund Husserl (część II)" 👍 📖
📕 Seminarium letnie stanowi bezpośrednią kontynuację zajęć z semestru zimowego, poświęconych etyczno-antropologicznym i egzystencjalnym horyzontom fenomenologii Edmunda Husserla.
📗 Punktem wyjścia semestru letniego będzie egzystencjalne doświadczenie bliskości i oddalenia Boga.
📘 Forma pracy: wspólna lektura i omawianie tekstów.
🗓️ Kolejne terminy: 12.05, 10.06.
✒️ Zapisy: [email protected]. Udział w seminarium jest certyfikowany
Seminarium zostało zorganizowane przez Centrum Etyki Chrześcijańskiej im. Tadeusza Ślipko SJ Wydziału Filozoficznego UIK.

On 15 of April we warmly invite you to the second part of the international, German-language seminar with Dr Monika Adamczyk-Enriquez entitled ‘The Ethical, Anthropological and Religious Horizons of Edmund Husserl’s Phenomenology (Part II)’ 👍 📖
📕 The summer seminar is a direct continuation of the winter semester classes devoted to the ethical-anthropological and existential horizons of Edmund Husserl’s phenomenology. Whilst in the first part we analysed phenomenology as an ethical-existential project, a path to self-knowledge and the tension between the ‘empirical self’ and the ‘authentic self’, the second part shifts the focus towards religious issues and transcendence.
📗 The starting point for the summer semester will be the existential experience of God’s nearness and distance. It is against this backdrop that the seminar will undertake a phenomenological analysis of the idea of God in Husserl and the question of its relation to the experience of the personal God. This analysis allows us to grasp both the possibilities and the limits of philosophical reflection: the idea of God as a correlate of consciousness and an element of Husserl’s theory of the teleology of the world, and at the same time the moment at which phenomenology encounters a dimension that transcends a purely conceptual approach.
📘 The next step will be a reflection on the anthropological consequences of the subject’s work on itself and on the process of arriving at the ‘authentic self’. Here, the human being appears as a creature called to act responsibly in a world whose meaning is not exhausted in immanence, but is revealed in the horizon of transcendence and commitment.
📕 The seminar concludes with the issue of the community of love (Liebesgemeinschaft), understood as a community in which individuals not only coexist side by side, but participate in one another through empathy. It is a community in which the relationship with another person attains its full ethical dimension, and the idea of Christian love of one’s neighbour is presented as the supreme form of meaning in human relations.
📗 Due to the limited number of sessions, the seminar is synthetic and problem-oriented, focusing on borderline tensions in which Husserl’s phenomenology reveals its religious and existential potential.
📘 Format: joint reading and discussion of texts.
💻 Classes are held in German via Zoom.
🗓️ Dates: 12 May, 10 June.
