I've always known I wanted to teach; to share my passion with everyone around... I was fortunate enough to meet a lot of interesting students along the way - online, offline, in class, and out of it. I’ve heard tons of interesting stories and anecdotes, learned about different cultures (by teaching in Russia and the UK), and opened my eyes to the world around.. But you might also KICK ASS because you decided to join Kasia’s Invigorating Corner of Kraziness for Ambitious StudentS...
Why ambitious students? Because what I post here is all the extra stuff that you'll not learn in books. I want us to treat English like a tool, a tool to meet other people, discuss interesting topics, and learn about life...
Why create? "Be Kick Ass"?
1) I want you to KICK ASS! Kick ass with English! Read interesting articles, learn idioms, listen to podcasts. Basically breathe English and its wonderfulness :)
2) I frequently find stuff online that I would like to share with ALL my students: grammar intricacies, sophisticated vocabulary, articles, videos....TONS OF STUFF! I tell myself: “wow, this is perfect for group A” but forget about group B, C, D and E who would also benefit from the topic…
By creating this page and inviting my students to join, I can make sure I am not spamming anyone who is not interested (as you decide to join) and make sure that whoever wants to find out something new, will do it! Anyways, this is it. Another Facebook baby... This time for students... ex-, present, or future... you are all invited! Take Care!
