The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree "Multilingualism and Cultural Diversity" (EMJM MultiDiverse) is a prestigious multidisciplinary, highly integrated and transnational, research-oriented degree programme that brings together linguistics, education, sociology and psychology.
It equips students with key knowledge and skills in multilingualism and cultural diversity.
International in scope and socially relevant, the programme is offered by University of Konstanz (Germany), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) and Jagiellonian University in Kraków (Poland).
The curriculum is structured around three core areas:
- Multilingualism from a linguistic perspective
- Multilingualism from an educational and language learning perspective
- Multilingualism and cultural diversity from sociological and psychological perspectives.
By integrating multidisciplinary perspectives focusing on the interplay of language, culture, and society, we empower students to explore multilingualism and cultural diversity from different angles.
All students spend the first semester at the University of Konstanz, the second semester at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and the third semester at Jagiellonian University in Krakow. In the last semester, students complete their MA thesis on one of the three Universities, depending on their main discipline.
