Workshops have always been one of FuNaM’s foundations, and this year was no different. 🔧🔬

From AFM and confocal microscopy to spectroscopy, diffraction, recycling technologies, and Li-ion batteries – participants gained hands-on experience and learned directly from experts.

An additional highlight was the visit to the Museum at the Faculty of Chemistry of the Jagiellonian University, where participants could listen to fascinating stories and explore unique exhibits about the history of chemistry and the Faculty itself. 🏛️✨

Every edition of FuNaM brings something new — but our commitment to hands-on learning stays the same. This year, we take on the most stubborn samples and transform experimental challenges into crystallographic clarity🤯👩‍🔬

This is your opportunity to learn how to push the limits of powder diffraction – and still get meaningful results.

🧪 Included workshops:

🔹 Powder Diffraction – Capillary Samples – If your material degrades in air or you only have milligrams to work with, this workshop is for you. Learn how to seal your sample in capillaries, how to optimize data collection, and how to avoid signal loss and degradation. Gain the confidence to analyze fragile and valuable materials with XRD.

🔹 Powder Diffraction – Microdiffraction – Learn how to handle the most stubborn and irregular samples.
