There are many great reasons to learn Polish. You do not need to convince anyone that it is worth in Poland speak Polish language fluently… to study, to find employment and so on…
What makes Polish so hard?
There are many factors that determine it. It's obvious that our Ukrainian, Russian and Czech students will learn the Polish language much faster than our students from Iran, China or even Spain. Besides, each person learns differently. The trick is to be able to explain the cultural differences, visualize the language structure differences and similarities, help to understand the deep structures of language. Around the world, we smile when we are happy, cry when we are sad, and laugh when something is funny, but the languages we use to describe it are so different. There are lots of words with Latin roots in Polish, as in the English! For example words ending in -cja are directly related to
English words ending in -tion:
- motywacja – motivation
- inspiracja – inspiration
- akcja – avtion
- sytuacja – situation
… and many more!
And finally, if you are going to learn Polish in Poland, you should definitely choose Krakow! Krakow is the city where Polish culture and art have both flourished and been preserved throughout the ages. It is a city strongly connected with the Polish history – attached some pics by us :)
Semester begins on 16 March. We prepare supporting documents should be submitted to the embassy when applying for a short-stay visa and then for a Permanent Residence Card.
