EGEA Kraków

In early March, we had the pleasure of hosting .beograd in Kraków. We showed them the very best of our city - from the historic Old Town and the vibrant streets of Kazimierz to the panoramic views from the Mound and the unique socialist-realist architecture of Nowa Huta. We even escaped the city for a hike in Ojców National Park!
​Fast forward to late April, it was our turn to visit Serbia! 🇷🇸 We explored the hidden gems of Belgrade, enjoyed surrounding green spaces, and hit the trails for another great hike.
​But the adventure didn’t stop there! On our way to Belgrade, we visited Szeged 🇭🇺, and on the way back, we conquered a hike in Vršac and explored the beautiful streets of Timișoara 🇷🇴.

As we're getting closer and closer to the end of registration for AC 2026 let's go back to September of 2025🔙🐄

From 8th to 13th September 2025 a few members from our entity had the pleasure of taking part in last year's Annual Congress that took part in Melchtal, Switzerland! 🇨🇭
Amongst our members one of them - Anna - led a training about understanding and releasing tension🧘🪷

We spent out time there thinking about how large events affect cities, people and environment. We learnt a lot of new things through workshops, trainings, skill sessions and excursions while (of course) having loads of fun!⛰️💞

Możecie zrobić coś samodzielnie lub kupić. Możliwa jest praca w grupie, w parach lub indywidualnie. Zachęcamy do ubioru w stylu lub kolorach flagi danego państwa i przyniesienia flagi (może być drukowana, rysowana itp.).

🧊North and Batlic Regional Congress 2025 - From Ice to Life ❄️✨

From 5th to 9th of May, 5 members of our entity had the amazing opportunity to take part in North and Baltic Regional Congress in Finland 🇫🇮.

One of our member led a workshop - exploration of Finnish lakes 🐟 offering participants to learn more about hydrology. Moreover, another person from our entity was an auction leader 💸
Also, during the congress we had a live meeting with all of the representatives from entities of N&B region!

A big thank you to everyone who made this time unforgettable! 🫶🏻 We had a wonderful experience, getting to know the beauty of Finland, making new friendships and learning and practising during workshops and trainings.
Special thank you to Orgateam who did a great job with preparing the congress! ❄️

📍 3–6 April we hosted our long-awaited re-exchange with our beloved friends from Jena 🇩🇪❤️🇵🇱

Thursday: Our Jena EGEans arrived! 🚍 We took them to the Zakrzówek Lake 🌊 and showed them around our campus 🎓 Later, we had a fun geography quiz night paired with delicious pizza 🍕 and then headed out to explore Kraków by night 🌃

Friday: An unforgettable day trip to Ojcowski National Park 🌲🪨 Surrounded by nature, we soaked in the beauty of Poland’s smallest national park 😍 After returning to Kraków, we went on a walking tour of the old town 🏰 and tried the legendary Polish zapiekanki 🧀🥖 Only 30,000 steps... no big deal 😅

Saturday: Early start with a visit to the UNESCO Salt Mine in Bochnia ⛏️🌍 (we even played volleyball underground!)🏐⚒️ Back in Kraków, we visited the museum to admire „Lady with an Ermine” by Leonardo da Vinci 🎨 In the evening, we gathered to prepare (and eat) PIEROGI on our own 🥟👩‍🍳

Sunday: Time to say goodbye 😢 but not before sharing a lovely breakfast together 🥐☕️

We had an amazing time – both in Jena and Kraków. This exchange may be officially over, but the friendships we built will stay with us for a long time to come 💫💛

🌍✨ Western Regional Congress 2025 – Catan’s Compass 🧭 .2025

From 17th to 21st of March, five members from EGEA Kraków had the pleasure of taking part in the Western Regional Congress in Belgium ✨. Among them, two led a workshop titled „Fruits & Beers Across Borders – Taste and analyze local economies in Belgium & Poland”, offering participants a flavorful perspective on regional economic dynamics.

Huge thanks to everyone who made this congress so valuable — from the inspiring workshop and skill session leaders to the teams behind the leisure excursions. You gave us new knowledge, fresh perspectives, and unforgettable memories! 🗺️🌟

A special shout-out to the amazing Orgateam —your dedication, support, and help made this congress truly comfortable and special for us! 🧭💫

At the end of February, it was time for the reexchange between EGEA Kraków and EGEA Cluj-Napoca! 🌍🧡

We got to see our friends from Romania again and had an amazing time exploring the city. We took a lovely walk through the city center, visited the Ethnographic Museum, and checked out the Zoological Museum.

We also discovered the iconic Cleo Pub and had a blast during karaoke night! 🎤✨

On top of that, we headed out to nature and, together with .warsaw enjoyed the stunning view of Lake Tarnița from above. 🏞️
