Hey everyone!🥳
The semester is nearing its end and we need to elect students for the different positions in the government. President, Vice President, and Electoral Commissioner for the next year. These will be responsible for organizing elections for treasurer, secretary, and class Representatives when the next semester begins.🦷
Anyone interested in the position of the president must have been at least one year in the DSG earlier.
The other positions are open to everyone, regardless of prior experience with the DSG.
Please send an email to [email protected] by noon on the 15th of June if you are interested in running for any of these positions.
The elections will be held shortly after.

Hello everyone!
Now that the semester has started it's time to think about the elections of Secretary and Treasurer for the DSG and (2) class representatives. Due to the current situation and the need for continuous communication with the university, coordinators and the classes, we wish to have the DSG board up and running as soon as possible.
Anyone interested in the position of Secretary, Treasurer or representing your class in the DSG can send a mail to [email protected] with the position they're interested in, their names and the year they are in. You can only run for one of the positions, which are described below.
You can send your applications for class representative until Sunday 16th of october 17:00. We'll announce the candidates, and the elections will be held electronically on the 28th of october.
We really need people in the DSG, so I hope many of you will consider joining. It looks good on your CV, it's not a lot of work, and we'll make it fun!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
The roles as defined in our constitution:
1.1 The role of the Government Class Representative is to represent their respective grades in the Dental Student Government and on the day-to-day functioning of their grades. The role of the Government Class Representative may also include but is not limited to or by: distributing information pertaining to important matters and developments in the Dental Student Government, providing feedback and opinions from their respective grade to the Dental Student Government, etc. Other assignments may also be delegated from other members of The Dental Student Government. The Government Class Representative shall work at the level of their respective grade to better the academic and social aspects of the student experience as defined by the Preamble and Objectives.
1.3 The role of the Treasurer is:
• To provide transparency of documents related to the use of the Dental Student Governments funds;
• To provide a budget and list of expenses to the Dental Student Government;
• To represent the Dental Student Government in cooperation with formally recognized or unrecognized organizations, academics, student life, social endeavors, etc.;
1.4 The role of the Secretary is:
• To keep Minutes at every meeting;
• To provide the Minutes of every meeting to the Dental Student Government, the student body, and others;
• To help the executives with simple duties occasionally when needed;

Hey everyone!
The new school year is about to begin and we need to elect a President, Vice President, and Electoral Commissioner for the upcoming year. These will be responsible for organizing elections for Secretary, Treasurer, and Class Representatives when the next semester begins.
Anyone interested in the position of president or vice president must have been at least one year in the DSG earlier.
The position of electoral commissioner is open to everyone, regardless of prior experience with the DSG.
Please send an email to [email protected] by the end of this week if you are interested in running for any of these positions. The date for the election will be published later.
If there is no one interested in any of these roles the students that held the positions last year will continue this year and there will be no need for an election.
Electoral commissioner:
• Compile a complete list of voters no later than 3 days prior to the election;
• The electoral commissioner cannot promote any of the candidates or help in their campaigning;
• Announce the results of the voting to the student body as soon as possible;
• Organize either: voting booths at locations accessible to students and provide information on their location to the student body no later than 7 days before the elections, or: online elections;
• After the election, the Electoral Commissioner shall provide the following information: number of eligible voters, number of distributed ballots in the case of physical elections, number of valid votes, number of votes for respective candidates;
President and vice president:
• Run and organize the Dental Student Government;
• Plan and schedule meetings to allow for the highest possible attendance by the Class Representatives and DSG members;
• To represent the Dental Student Government and student body at the School of Medicine in English;
• To help direct and steer the Dental Student Government, as well as the student body, in the pursuit of betterment of the DDS program.
• To report back to the student body any and all news and announcements pertaining to the School of Medicine in English and make said news available to the entire student body.
• To attend meetings with the 6 Year Student Government, and be responsible for the cooperation with the 6YSG

As there is only one candidate per position there will be no need for elections unless anyone else submits their interest to [email protected] by Monday 31st of May at 12:00.
