🐱 Today's phrase - NIECHCĄCY - is pretty often used by Poles, especially the younger ones, when they did something bad (like breaking a vaze, the most precious thing in the house).
📍 As you can see, this phrase is connected with verb 🔽 (NIE) CHCIEĆ (to want [or not] to do sth) 🔽. Instead of saying "Nie chciałem ➕ czasownik" ("I didn't want to ➕ verb") you can use "NIECHCĄCY + czasownik".
⏩ How (and when) to use this phrase? Well, basically it can be useful, when you did something not on purpose, but it had happened and you feel kind of embarassed. You can just say "To było niechcący, przepraszam" ("It wasn't intentionally, I'm sorry") and you'll be forgiven, hopefully.
📔 Let's look at some examples:
📌 Niechcący usłyszałem wczoraj rozmowę mojego taty ze swoją kochanką. Unintentionally, yesterday I heard a conversation of my dad with his lover.
📌 Kiedy wychodziłyśmy z windy, Renata niechcący wpadła na naszego dyrektora. When we were leaving the elevator, Renata unintentionally bumped into our CEO.
📌 Bardzo przepraszam, niechcący wprowadziłam panią w błąd. I'm really sorry, unintentionally I did misinform you, ma'am.
📌 Niechcący rozlałam gorącą kawę na koszulę mojego męża. Unintentionally, I have spilled hot coffee on the shirt of my husband.

🐱 Today's phrase - KIEDY INDZIEJ - is pretty often used by Poles. Instead of "INNYM RAZEM" you may say "KIEDY INDZIEJ".
📍 How (and when) to use this phrase? Well, someone wants to meet you, but this very moment is not quite good. Your mom-in-law is coming, your child is coming down with flu and your only dream is to get some sleep. In such situation you can say:
➡ "Możemy się spotkać KIEDY INDZIEJ (/innym razem)? (Let's meet some other time).
📔 KIEDY INDZIEJ can be translated as well as "then other times". The most common meaning of this phrase is the one above, but still... Let's look at some examples:
📌 Czasem mi się wydaje, że jesteśmy dla siebie całkowicie obcy, a kiedy indziej myślę, że znasz mnie lepiej niż ktokolwiek inny. Sometimes it seems to me that we are completely strangers to each other, and then other times I think you know me better than anyone.
📌 Nie wiem, co o tym wszystkim myśleć. Filip raz rozmawia ze mną długie godziny, a kiedy indziej nie odzywa się przez kilka dni. I'm confused and dunno what to think about all the situation. Philip talks to me for long hours, and then other times I don't hear from him for few days.

😽 Today's phrase - OBY - is very popular. If you want something to happen, you can say "Mam (taką) nadzieję!", but this expression is pretty long, therefore you can just say "Oby!".
(A): Jestem pewna, że zdasz ten egzamin. I'm sure you'll pass the exam.
(B): Oby! / Mam (taką) nadzieję! I hope so!
◾ You can use this expression as well in the sentence. Let's look at some examples.
📌 Obyś miał rację. This sentence has two meanings. First of all, it can be translated as "I hope you're right". Or "Better be right".
📌 Obyście wiedziały, co robicie. As above, there's two translations: "You (two) better know what you're doing". And "I hope you (two) know what you're doing".
📔 If you wish somebody well, OBY(-m/-ś/-śmy/-ście) means "I hope...". If it's kind of threat, it should be translated as "Better + verb...".
🐱 If you use OBY in the whole sentence, you need to remember about one rule (depending on the person you're talking to):
JA ➡ obym;
TY ➡ obyś;
ON/ONA/ONO ➡ oby;
MY ➡ obyśmy;
WY ➡ obyście;
ONI/ONE ➡ oby.
➕ correct form of verb in PAST TENSE

📌 Let's start with a new series! 📚
😽 Today's phrase is connected with a condictional mood. Let's look at some lyrics of Polish song:
🎼 Gdybym miał gitarę, to bym na niej grał / If I had a guitar, I'd play it /
I'm sure you've already noticed that today's verb - gdybać - looks much like the first part of the sentence (gdybym - If I...).
◾ GDYBAĆ means ↔ to think "what if". The whole phrase "NIE MA CO GDYBAĆ" is used, when there's no sense to think "what if", because we cannot change the past or the future.
◾ "Nie ma co" in this phrase basically means "there's no sense / it's better not to / there's no reason to". ↪ Nie ma co się bać / płakać. There's no reason to be scared / to cry.
📔 How to use this expression? For example, you're talking with your friend about a boy/girl you used to date a long ago. You start to think how your life would look like, if you were still a couple. And all of a sudden you realize there's no sense doing this, because you're married and (s)he turned out to be a liar. In such a case you can say "Nie ma co gdybać".
