🇵🇱 May 3 is Constitution Day in Poland.
This year marks the 235th anniversary of the Constitution of May 3, 1791.
The May 3 Constitution was the second modern written constitution in the world after the United States Constitution and the first in Europe.
It became a symbol of the Polish Enlightenment, as well as the desire for reforms, freedom, and strengthening the state.

🇵🇱 3 мая - День Конституции в Польше.
В этом году Конституции 3 мая 1791 года исполняется 235 лет.
Конституция 3 мая была второй в мире после Конституции США и первой в Европе современной писаной конституцией.
Она стала символом польского Просвещения, а также стремления к реформам, свободе и укреплению государства.

🇵🇱 May 2 in Poland is Flag Day!
The Polish flag consists of two horizontal stripes: white on the top and red on the bottom. These colors come directly from the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Poland - a white eagle on a red background.
The white color on the top symbolizes purity and nobility. The red stripe on the bottom represents courage and bravery.

🇵🇱 2 мая в Польше отмечается День флага!
Флаг Польши состоит из двух горизонтальных полос: белой сверху и красной снизу. Эти цвета происходят напрямую из герба Королевства Польского - белого орла на красном фоне. Белый цвет, расположенный сверху, символизирует чистоту и благородство. Красная полоса снизу обозначает храбрость и отвагу.

May 1 is Labour Day, a public holiday in Poland. Our school will be closed on this day and there will be no classes (unless you have a separate arrangement with your teacher).
Our office will reopen on Monday, May 4.
