ESPAM MFL Delegation from Ecuador Visits the University of Agriculture in Krakow 🇪🇨🇵🇱

On 18 September 2026, the University of Agriculture in Krakow hosted a delegation from the Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí Manuel Félix López (ESPAM MFL).

The delegation included Dr Angel Guillermo Félix Mendoza, Rector of ESPAM MFL; Dr Iván Orlando Mendoza Montesdeoca, General Coordinator of Outreach; Mg. Javier Mendoza Vargas, Coordinator of the Galápagos Campus; and Dr Paúl Cedeño, Director of the Agro-industry Program.

The University of Agriculture in Krakow was represented by Prof. Andrzej Sechman, Vice-Rector for Cooperation, and Ms Dominika Dankiewicz, Head of the Office for International Cooperation and Exchange.

The discussions focused on strengthening academic and scientific cooperation between the two institutions, student and staff mobility, joint international projects, and the exchange of experience in technology transfer and cooperation with the agricultural sector.

The visit marks another step in the development of our cooperation with partners in Latin America. 🌎🤝

Wszyscy chcemy dobrze, a jednak czasem coś nie wychodzi. Niedopowiedzenie, różne spojrzenia, emocje – i pojawia się dystans.

A przecież często wystarczy **rozmowa**. Z uważnością na drugiego człowieka.

Bo wspólnoty nie buduje brak trudnych sytuacji, ale to, **jak potrafimy przez nie razem przejść**.

🌱🚁 Smart Farming & Digital Agriculture with the Use of Drones

A look back at our Blended Intensive Programme at Uniwersytet Rolniczy w Krakowie!

The programme brought together international students and lecturers for a combination of online learning and an intensive on-site week in Krakow and Krynica-Zdrój. Through lectures, discussions, practical activities and hands-on drone workshops, participants explored how digital technologies and drones are transforming modern agriculture. 🌍

But BIP was about more than learning. It was also about international cooperation, exchanging ideas, discovering new perspectives and building connections across universities and countries. 🤝

Thank you to all the students, lecturers, partners and everyone involved in making this programme possible!

📢 Teaching Mobility Opportunities at JUNIA in France

Academic staff of the University of Agriculture in Krakow are invited to explore teaching mobility opportunities at JUNIA Science and Technology during the 2026/2027 academic year.

Opportunities are available in a wide range of fields, including agriculture and landscape, food sciences, health and environment, computer science, smart systems and energies, building and urban environment, engineering, electronics and physics.

Courses may be delivered in English or French, and some opportunities may also be organised in a blended or virtual format.

The mobility may be eligible for Erasmus+ funding, subject to the availability of funds. Accommodation, meals or travel expenses may also be covered by JUNIA when applicable.

JUNIA professors are also available to deliver selected courses at partner universities.

Spend two weeks learning how modern technologies are changing agriculture through smart farming, drone applications, sustainability and digital tools, together with students and lecturers from different countries.

🥟International researchers and PhD students are warmly invited to take part in a hands‑on integration event, organised as part of the “Cultural adaptation in Poland” cycle.
During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to learn how to make Polish pierogi, experience local culinary tradition and spend time with people from different countries and cultural backgrounds.

The event will be hosted at the Multicultural Centre in Kraków, operated by Fundacja IB Polska.
