🐉 **The Dragon Parade in Kraków — tradition, legend & Polish words!**

Every year, Kraków hosts an amazing dragon parade — and there’s a reason for it! Poland has one of the most famous dragon legends in Europe.

The legend says that long ago, a huge dragon lived under Wawel Castle. It was scary and dangerous for the whole city. One day, a clever young man defeated it by tricking it — and Kraków was saved! 🏰🔥

Since then, the dragon became a symbol of Kraków. And every year, the city celebrates with a spectacular show — live music, dance, acrobatics, lasers, and drones. It’s truly something you have to see! ✨

Meet „się” — the tiny word that trips up almost every Polish learner.
Some verbs have it. Some don’t. And if you get it wrong, you’ll say something completely different than you meant! 😅
Here’s what I mean:
🔹 myć (to wash something) vs myć się (to wash yourself)
🔹 uczyć (to teach) vs uczyć się (to study / learn)
🔹 ubierać (to dress someone) vs ubierać się (to get dressed)
🔹 budzić (to wake someone up) vs budzić się (to wake up)
🔹 bawić (to entertain someone) vs bawić się (to have fun)

Once you SEE the pattern — it clicks instantly. ✅

This phrase is used in very specific contexts — like when someone is feeling unwell or going through a tough time 😔💙 In everyday life, Poles actually use completely different expressions like **”Co słychać?”**, **”Co tam?”**, or **”Jak tam u ciebie?”** 🗣️😊

📚 The problem? Textbooks still list **”Jak się masz?”** as the most popular greeting — which means most learners are speaking textbook Polish, not real Polish! 😅❌
