Mark your calendars, all enthusiasts❗️ The next is coming❗️🧠🍕 And guess what: we will talk about ... donuts (just to understand psychedelics❗️🍩😅).
Now, more serious: brain networks are complicated. Scientists usually apply statistical models from connectomics to try to unravel what brain connections hide. However, these approaches are only able to see the macroscopic properties of such networks. Using Topological Data Analysis permits us to go one level deeper into the structure of networks. Joan Falco Roget, PhD student at will provide an intuitive introduction to the topic of Topology in graphs and go through a case study of subjects injected with psilocybin and their potential usage in longitudinal studies.
