Are board games really learning?
Yes — if the game has an educational purpose.
During the game, a child doesn’t answer the teacher “because they have to.”
They speak, negotiate, and make decisions to reach a result.
We design the gameplay in a way that activates specific skills:
strategic thinking, communication, and independence.
The student plans a move, anticipates others’ reactions, and learns the consequences of their choices.
These are exactly the competencies they later use in learning and in life.
The teacher’s role is not to run the game for the children,
but to moderate the process — ask questions, pause for reflection, and name the strategies.
That is why after the lesson a child remembers not only who won, but also what they learned.

Science, emotions, and English fluency — that’s how our Winter Camp 2026 at ESTI School in Kraków went❄️
This year, we focused on experiments because the best way to learn a language is to use it in action. In just one week, our students:
✅ Became polar explorers in «Arctic & Antarctic Adventures»
✅ Discovered the magic of physics with Ms. Ewa
✅ Mastered the elements by creating their own «Śnieżna burza»
These were days filled with «Why does this happen?» and answers found entirely in English. We are so proud of every little researcher👏
