🪐 Learning Beyond the Classroom! 🌟
✨ In our classrooms, students don’t just memorise facts—they bring their learning to life! 🎨🧠📚
✨ A great example is Year 5’s exploration of the Solar System as part of their IPC studies. Pupils took their knowledge beyond the books, designing creative projects that show curiosity, imagination and independent thinking. From models to innovative displays, their work demonstrates how learning can be hands-on, exciting and truly meaningful 🌍🚀
✨ At Embassy International School, we believe that education is about discovering, creating and applying knowledge, helping every child to reach their full potential.

🧡 Anti-Bullying Week 2025 was a vibrant journey through kindness, respect, and courage. From the very first day, when orange bracelets were distributed to symbolise solidarity, to the final moments at the Art Exhibition, the school buzzed with creativity, reflection, and connection.
🤝 Students and staff explored the meaning of being an upstander, leaving anonymous notes on our Wall of Kindness, decorating doors, crafting rainbows, and sharing poetry and art. For many, it was their first chance to experience such a celebration of empathy, wandering through the exhibition, discovering the world through their peers’ eyes, pausing to reflect and ask questions.
🍩 The week was enriched with theatre scenes demonstrating how small acts of courage can change outcomes, panel discussions on cyberbullying and hate speech, and a playful spirit with donuts, quizzes, and Odd Socks Day. From youngest pupils to older students, the shared message was clear: kindness, respect, and inclusion are values we live every day.

🌿 Hands-On learning through nature & creativity! 🐦
🎨 Our Year 1 and Year 2 pupils took part in inspiring clay workshops with Zanurzone w glinie - warsztaty edukacyjne, perfectly supporting our IPC approach in Primary, where curiosity, exploration, and real-world connections lead the way.
🎨 Using colourful books, vivid illustrations, and real feathers to observe up close, children deepened their understanding of the natural world — discovering different types of birds, why some migrate, how they build their nests, what they eat, and the habitats they call home. 🌍🪶
🎨 In true IPC fashion, the second part of the workshop encouraged creativity and personal expression as pupils sculpted and painted their own imaginative bird-like creatures. Their pride and excitement were wonderful to see! 🎨✨
🎨 A warm thank you to Mrs Natalia for supporting our Primary learners on their journey of inquiry and discovery!💛

🌍 Learning Beyond the Classroom — Mission to Mars Continues! 🚀
🌠 Our Year 5 and Year 6 students had an absolutely stellar experience this week at Akademia Górniczo-Hutnicza w Krakowie! 🌌 As part of their IPC topic, “Mission to Mars,” our young explorers took their learning beyond the classroom walls to discover how science and curiosity can truly reach the stars. ✨
🌠 The trip began with an engaging science show, where fundamental physics principles were brought to life through hands-on experiments. ⚙️💡 Students watched as everyday objects became tools to demonstrate gravity, pressure, sound, and energy — making complex laws of physics both understandable and fun!⚡
🌠 Then came the highlight of the day: a special meeting with Dr. Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski, Polish Project Astronaut, engineer, and member of the European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut reserve. 🧑🚀🇵🇱 Dr. Uznański-Wiśniewski shared insights about space exploration, astronaut training, and Poland’s role in future space missions. His stories about perseverance, teamwork, and innovation inspired our students to dream big — because the sky is not the limit! 🌠
🌠 During the Q&A session, our students shone brightly as proud representatives of Embassy International School. They impressed the guest by confidently asking thoughtful questions — both in Polish and in English! 🇬🇧👏 Dr Uznański-Wiśniewski even mentioned it was the first time he had received English questions during his school tour. What an incredible achievement for our young learners!
🌠 Experiences like this remind us how powerful it is to take learning beyond the classroom — connecting knowledge with real-world experiences, meeting inspiring role models, and seeing science in action. 🌟

🍁 Fall Festival Fun! 🍂
🍄 On Friday, 24th October, our school community celebrated a magical Fall Festival, led by our new Student Council with amazing support from the PTA. It was the perfect way to wrap up the first half of term and welcome the Autumn Break!
☕ We began the day with a cosy Sweet Morning Treat – free hot chocolate, coffee and toppings shared with smiles among students, parents and teachers.
🍂 In Early Years, autumn-themed tattoos and crafts were provided by the PTA and Student Council members, followed by a delightful storytime with the Autumn Fairy, who brought sweet surprises for everyone. ✨
🎃 Primary pupils had great fun with Pumpkin Bowling, Spooky Candy Toss, Diwali Discovery (they learnt more about the story behind the festival by watching a short video covering it), Chess Corner, Curse-Breaking Puzzles, and Marigold Memories – crafting autumn keepsakes from air clay.
🍰 The Bake & Book Sale, organised by the Student Council, was a big success! Thanks to everyone who baked, donated and purchased – your support helps fund future school activities.
🗝️ Secondary students (Years 7–9) showed brilliant teamwork in a thrilling Scavenger Hunt, solving clues and uncovering treasure chests filled with sweets! The Art Competition continues – winners will be revealed after the break. 🎨
💛 A huge thank you to our students, staff and parents for making the day truly special. Your energy, creativity and community spirit made it an unforgettable celebration of the season!

🌍 Peace One Day: Learning, sharing, growing. 🌍
On Friday, 19th September, our school once again came together to celebrate Peace One Day 🌍 – a global initiative that shines a light on peace, unity, and kindness. It was a truly inspiring day, reminding us all how even the smallest actions can help create a more peaceful world. 💙
Our pupils spent the day off timetable, taking part in a wide range of meaningful and creative activities, including:
🕊️ Crafting their own peace doves
🤝 Reflecting during anti-bullying circle time
💭 Sharing thoughts in “Who will you make peace with?”
🌍 Learning about different cultures
🎶 Listening together to the Peace One Day anthem
It was wonderful to see everyone dressed in white, symbolising peace and unity across our school community. Thank you to all staff, pupils, and families for making this day so special – together, we keep peace at the heart of all we do. 🌟

🌿 Exploring the hidden world of biology 🔍
🔬 Our Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students have recently been busy in the science lab, taking their first steps into the fascinating study of human and plant tissues. Although it is only September, their enthusiasm and curiosity are already shining through as they observe the microscopic details that bring biology to life.
🧬 At EIS, we believe that hands-on learning is one of the best ways to spark a lifelong interest in science—and these eager young scientists are already uncovering secrets that will deepen their understanding of the world around them.
