Dear Participants!

We are pleased to announce that Kielce Model United Nations 2019 has been named the second Best Small Conference in the world and thus has made it to the Model UN Hall of Fame - an annual ranking of the highest-rated conferences worldwide created by MyMUN. KielMUN 2019 is also the third-highest ranked MUN overall.

On this special occasion, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who made it happen. The list of those we are indebted to is quite lengthy, but nevertheless we feel obliged to give proper recognition to all those without whom the KielMUN 2019 could not have happened.

We thank our patrons, sponsors, and co-organisers, who offered their support from the very beginning of the long and exhausting, but absolutely exciting and ultimately rewarding preparations. We give a shout-out to our stellar Chairboard, who showed their experience and expertise in creating painstakingly thorough and comprehensive study guides and presiding over the debates professionally. We appreciate the essential work of our pages, who allowed the conference to run smoothly. We still to this day marvel at the wonderful creations of our photographers, who eternalised every moment of the conference. We thank the original 2017 Secretariat for laying the cornerstone for KielMUN, passing the torch on to us, and contributing to the Crisis Committee, both physically and virtually. We are grateful to our families and friends, who tirelessly supported us during the stressful and tense months of preparation. And last, but most certainly not least, we thank you, dear Delegates, for joining us in September 2019 for three days of fiery speeches, tense negotiations, and extensive research, but also socialising and great fun. You challenged yourselves to do your best and you succeeded. We sincerely hope that the KielMUN experience will stay with you and that you will continue to develop and stay active and committed on your path to becoming the leaders of tomorrow.

We would also like to congratulate our partner conference, StetiMUN, which has been awarded the title of the Best Medium Conference in the world and is also the highest-ranked MUN overall in 2019 ("As a participant, I can attest that this success is absolutely well-deserved!" - SG). We are also delighted to see other of our partners making it to the Hall of Fame: PlocMUN, Katowice Model United Nations, Poznan Model United Nations, and DSPMUN. The already heated debates in the committees were interrupted by a special General Assembly session called by our Crisis Director, Adam Fudala. The news about recent developments in the dire situation in Hong Kong were delivered by our special correspondents: Adam Koczoski (London), Malwina Kopytek (Washington, D.C.) and Sebastian Wong (Hong Kong).
