Promotion of e-MOTIVE project results during FUTURE ENGINEERING 2019 conference

On the 29th of May 2019 – e-MOTIVE results were promoted during FUTURE ENGINEERING conference, held in Ołtarzew (near Warsaw).

Representatives of a number of companies were present at the event. Due to the fact that each company has a challenge to train their employees, e-MOTIVE products might be a great support for them (their trainers) in this matter.

A poster with description of project results was shown at the poster session, and KOMAG’s representative was present there to talk with the visitors, give additional information and attract the project target audience representatives. In the poster a QR code and a marker were included which gave opportunity to see opportunities provided by the e-MOTIVE AR tool.

E-MOTIVE Multiplier Event held by RTRIT

On the 4th of March a multiplier event to promote the e-MOTIVE project results was carried out by RTRIT.

The event was carried out according to the agenda which included:

- Registration
- Ice breaking activities
- Informative presentation:

- - - about e-MOTIVE project (objectives of the project, partners, scope results and outcomes)
- - - about the research Identification of competencies and needs of VET Teachers and Identification of training preferences of VET Students and its results revealing situation in Latvia.
- - - Introduction to the methodology of “Knowledge pills”

- Working in teams with Knowledge pills developed in the project and grouped according to the subjects (each group works to create a teaching/training material only by using knowledge pills)

- - - Moodle
- - - ClassFlow
- - - Webinars and social media
- - - Teaching/training videos
- - - 360 panorama images

- Presentations of the teams
- Sum up, sharing experiences, open questions

Promotion of the e-MOTIVE products during meeting within DigiVirtu project

E-MOTIVE project was presented to participants of meeting held within other project coordinated by TTS – DigiVirtu - 05 April 2018

The meeting was held in SEDU training institute (Seinäjoki, Finland).

The main information regarding e-MOTIVE and results from its first phase were presented – results from survey carried out to identify VET teachers’ and VET students’ needs and preferences regarding use of ICT in teaching/learning.

The DigiVirtu project(FI: Digitaalisten ja virtuaalisten oppimisympäristöjen yhdistäminen lähtökohdiltaan erilaisten oppijoiden tarpeisiin, ENG: Combining digital and virtual learning environments with the needs of different learners) is related with digital education development and is funded by the National Board of Education. Project partners are representatives of vocational education and training from Seinäjoki and Kajaani. The purpose of the DigiVirtu project is to develop unified virtual and digital learning environments and to develop operating models for the role of the teacher in the digitalisation era. The project meeting was related to project progress and data sharing. Apart from TTS, persons form the following institutions participated:

Seinäjoki VET School, SEDU, sedu.fi
Kajaani VET School, KAO, www.kao.fi.

On the 15th of May the 2nd e-MOTIVE project meeting was held – in TTS’s site (Vantaa, Finland). TTS was the host of the meeting.

Progress of the project was discussed. Current situation of the project was reviewed and arrangements regarding future tasks and activities were also made.

Meetings of the Steering Committee and the Quality Committee took place as well.

On 20th to 22nd March 2018 the second learning activity within the e-MOTIVE project was held in RTRIT’s site (Riga, Latvia). All project partners participated. RTRIT was the host of the meeting.
The aim of the activity was to exchange knowledge regarding development of ICT enriched training materials and obtain related skills. In particular workshops on application of ClassFlow were carried out.

On 13th to 15th February 2018 the first learning activity within the e-MOTIVE project was held in TTS’s site (Vantaa, Finland).
All project partners participated. TTS was the host of the meeting.
The aim of the activity was to exchange knowledge regarding development of ICT enriched training materials and obtain related skills.
