We have seen recently few risers which were almost
sawn full.
Also we had cut-away because of one broken riser.

Crucial is to know your rig... simple as that!
And now the question.

Who is packing your RIG? Are you trust somebody else more than yourself?

Second question. After AFF how much effort did you put to learn how your rig is working and what you can expect from points of failure?

Now, if twice you replied negatively then:
A. Prepare money for repacking you reserve more often than is really need.
B. Remember about hard deck altitude.
C. Remember that after plan B there is no more Plan C

Look hard at your toggles before taking the reins of control...
