🦩🐅🦎 Today, Grade 3 spent an unforgettable day at 🐘🌿

During our trip, we had the opportunity to observe amazing animals from around the world, explore tropical habitats, and learn fascinating facts about wildlife and their environments. There was also plenty of time for fun, teamwork, and lots of smiles. 😊

It was a day full of adventure, learning, and wonderful memories! 💙

🌿 Last week, Grade 2 students took part in herbarium workshops at the Marszewo Forest Botanical Garden in Gdynia. 🌿

During the workshops, the children explored selected plant species and their natural habitats, developing their understanding connected to our current unit on biodiversity and relationships within nature. 🌱

🍃 Through observation and hands-on activities, students created their own herbariums and nature-inspired bookmarks. 📚✨

It was a valuable experience filled with discovery, creativity, and learning through direct contact with nature. 💚

🎲 Another Board Game Evening is behind us! 🍕

Lots of excitement, laughter, great fun, and of course pizza — that’s what another PTA-organised Board Game Evening was all about.

Children and parents had the opportunity to spend quality time together, discover new games, and enjoy each other’s company. Moments like these help strengthen our school community and create lasting memories.

Thank you to the PTA for organising this wonderful event and to everyone who joined us. We are already looking forward to the next one! 🎲💛

🌸 To celebrate Mother’s Day, our school hosted a special workshop for mums — a space created to pause from the demands of everyday life, connect with other women, share experiences, find inspiration, and reflect on oneself from a fresh perspective.

It was an afternoon filled with meaningful conversations, reflection, and a reminder of the importance of caring for ourselves not only as mothers, but also as women.

Our sincere thanks go to Miss Anita for designing and leading this wonderful event, and to all the participants for creating such an open, supportive, and inspiring atmosphere. 💛

Czy dzieci naprawdę mają wpływ na własną naukę, czy tylko wykonują kolejne polecenia w coraz bardziej uporządkowanym świecie?

W najnowszym podcaście Einstein International School rozmawiamy o sprawczości (agency) nie jako modnym haśle edukacyjnym, ale jako fundamencie uczenia się, dobrostanu i przygotowania dzieci do życia w świecie, który wymaga myślenia, odwagi, współpracy i odpowiedzialności.

Rozmawiamy o tym:

* czym naprawdę jest sprawczość dziecka,
* dlaczego wybór bez sensu nie buduje autonomii,
* jak motywacja wewnętrzna rozwija się w relacjach, bezpieczeństwie i poczuciu wpływu,
* dlaczego zabawa, inquiry i projektowanie środowiska mają ogromne znaczenie,
* oraz co dzieje się z dziećmi, kiedy przez lata słyszą głównie: „usiądź”, „zrób”, „nie przeszkadzaj”.

Sprawczość nie oznacza braku granic.
Oznacza obecność głosu, sensu i zaufania.

Bo dzieci, które mają przestrzeń do myślenia, pytania, próbowania i popełniania błędów, nie tylko lepiej się uczą. One zaczynają wierzyć, że mają wpływ na świat wokół siebie.

Do children genuinely shape their own learning, or are they simply becoming better at following instructions in an increasingly controlled world?

In the latest Einstein International School podcast, we explore agency not as another educational buzzword, but as a foundation for learning, wellbeing, and preparing children for a future that demands thinking, courage, collaboration, and responsibility.

We talk about:

* what agency really means,
* why meaningless choice does not build autonomy,
* how intrinsic motivation grows through relationships, safety, and a sense of influence,
* why play, inquiry, and intentional learning environments matter,
* and what happens to children when, for years, they mostly hear: “sit down”, “do this”, “don’t interrupt”.

Agency does not mean the absence of boundaries.
It means the presence of voice, meaning, and trust.

Because children who are given space to think, question, experiment, and make mistakes do not just learn better. They begin to believe they can shape the world around them.

🔥 ENERGY, EXCITEMENT &… SO MUCH PRIDE! 🔥

Our kids took on the challenge and participated in Runmageddon Kids 💪

There were obstacles, climbing, jumping, and lots of laughter — but most of all: courage and teamwork 🧡

Every obstacle was not just fun, but also a valuable lesson:
✔️that it’s worth trying, even when it’s hard
✔️that together we can do more
✔️that believing in yourself truly makes a difference

We are incredibly proud of every single participant 👏
