What can offshore financial law tell us about today’s global legal order?
During his guest lecture at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Gdańsk, Prof. Denis De Castro Halis will introduce participants to a field that connects company law, international practice, and broader socio-legal questions.
An internationally experienced academic and researcher, Prof. Halis has taught and worked across Brazil, the Caribbean, Asia, Europe, the United States, and Mozambique. His work brings together offshore financial law, corporate responsibilities, legal interpretation, and comparative legal culture.

How should the law protect children in online spaces — and where should constitutional limits be drawn?
In his guest lecture for the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Gdańsk, Dr. Prabhpreet Singh will examine the regulation of children’s online environments through a comparative perspective bringing together India, Poland, and Australia.
Dr. Singh’s academic work focuses on constitutionalism, human rights, and digital law. His research and publications engage with key legal and ethical questions of the digital age, including comparative law, data protection, and the regulation of online content.
