The third day of work placements – from coding and electronics to vehicle diagnostics! 💻🔧🚗
On 16 September 2026, our students began the third day of their vocational work placements at companies in Málaga. Each group faced different assignments, but precision, independence, teamwork and the ability to communicate in an international environment were essential everywhere. Take a look at what they worked on today! 👇
🎮 Atheneas Hobby, S.L.
Wiktor, Jakub and Paweł continued diagnosing and repairing electronic equipment. They identified faults, checked the condition of individual components and learned the successive stages of safely dismantling and servicing electronic devices.
💬 Wiktor:
“I like the fact that we work with real equipment and can independently investigate the causes of faults. The employees are patient, happy to answer our questions and show us different ways of repairing devices.”
📱 Innovation Campus – Malaga Palace
Mateusz, Tomasz, Szymon and Bartosz continued developing IT solutions. They worked on materials used for automatically generating social media posts and on an application designed to create and verify visitor entry passes.
The project combined data management, interface design and testing the functions they had developed. The students discovered how much testing and refinement are required before an idea can become a fully functioning application. 📊📲
💬 Mateusz:
“The most interesting part is that we are creating applications with practical uses. We can present our own ideas, while the company’s employees give us specific guidance and help us find effective solutions.”
🚙 Tyrespeed Málaga, S.L.
Krzysztof and Szymon participated in the diagnostics, repair and maintenance of a Range Rover’s suspension system. They observed how the condition of individual components was assessed, assisted with servicing work and learned how to use tools found in a professional workshop.
Working on such an advanced vehicle required precision, compliance with safety procedures and effective cooperation with experienced mechanics. 🛞🛠️
💬 Krzysztof:
“Working on the Range Rover’s suspension was a very interesting experience. The mechanics treat us as part of the team, explain the correct order of each operation and show us what we need to pay attention to during diagnostics.”
💻 Letmalaga
Mikołaj, Damian, Grzegorz and Hubert continued working on the interface of a system designed to manage and monitor reported issues. They developed functions for adding new issues, assigning categories and priority levels, and tracking their status as pending, in progress or resolved.
They used TypeScript and Next.js to develop the application. They continuously tested the code, fixed errors and observed how their changes affected the system’s appearance and functionality. ⌨️🧑💻
💬 Mikołaj:
“It is very satisfying to watch a fully functioning system emerge from successive pieces of code. Our co-workers create a very positive atmosphere and help us in more challenging moments, while also encouraging us to search for solutions independently.”
❄️ Electrónica Torcal, S.L.
The third day of the work placement was particularly intensive for Dzmitry, Jakub and Borys. Each student completed different assignments at various locations.
🔧 Dzmitry assisted with repairing a washing machine, refrigerator and oven. The faulty appliances were located in Benalmádena and Marbella, allowing him to experience the mobile nature of a service technician’s work. While completing his assignments, he communicated with the company’s employees in English.
❄️ Jakub participated in diagnosing a fault and carrying out periodic maintenance of an air-conditioning system in Marbella. He learned how to inspect the installation’s individual components and outdoor unit, as well as how to use the tools required for servicing.
💡 Borys assisted with installing lighting fixtures and laying an electrical installation. The assignment required the precise positioning of components, correct routing of cables and strict compliance with safety rules.
💬 Jakub:
“Each appliance had a different fault, so I spent the entire day learning something new. The employees are friendly and very helpful, and communicating with them in English allows me to develop my technical and language skills at the same time.”
🚘 After work – a journey through the history of motoring
At 6:00 p.m., all 16 students and their supervisors visited the Museo del Automóvil y la Moda de Málaga (the Automobile and Fashion Museum of Málaga).
During the visit, the group embarked on a fascinating journey through the successive stages of automotive development. They saw historic cars dating from the beginning of the 20th century, classic limousines, elegant luxury vehicles and models illustrating how engineering and styling trends changed over the decades.
The oldest vehicles, with their large headlamps, wooden bodywork components, narrow tyres and open cabins, attracted particular attention. The students could compare their construction with modern cars and see how steering and suspension systems, lighting, interiors and methods of protecting drivers and passengers have evolved.
The exhibition combined the history of technology with the history of fashion. The vehicles were accompanied by period clothing, dresses and accessories representing different eras. This allowed the students to see that motoring is not only about mechanics, but also about design, art, fashion and social change.
The museum visit was an interesting conclusion to an intensive day. For the future mechanics, it was an opportunity to trace the development of vehicle design. For the IT students, it demonstrated how technology has gradually transformed the way vehicles are designed, manufactured and used. 📸🚗👗
It was a day filled with work, new experiences and fascinating discoveries. Our students are becoming increasingly confident in their international workplaces, developing their vocational and language skills, and discovering Spain from both professional and cultural perspectives. 🇵🇱🤝🇪🇸
📸 Stay tuned! In our next update, we will share more assignments, professional challenges and the results of our students’ work.
