Two articles, one semester, and plenty of academic magic! ✨📖

This time, 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙖 🎭🎬 took us behind the curtain as Anna Sawczuk MA put Barbara Struk PhD in the spotlight and asked all about the power of theatre in education and beyond. 🌟👏

Meanwhile, 𝙁𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 "𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙩𝙝 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙨𝙚𝙩" 𝙤𝙣 𝙖 𝙍𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙞𝙚 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧'𝙨 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙝 👩‍🏫🚀, written by our BA English Philology graduate Karolina Wojczuk, explored the exciting and challenging journey of a rookie teacher. 📚✨

🌍✨ Erasmus+ in action! 🇪🇺🇨🇵

📢 We’re happy to share the latest news about our Filologia angielska AB staff member! 🇬🇧
As part of the Erasmus+ project carried out at UTW Akademia Bialska Anna Sawczuk MA, is currently supporting the group as a translator and coordinator during their trip to France 😊🤝

A group of UTW students took part in a few educational workshops connected with eco-gardening 🌱, solar cooking ☀️🍳, and composting ♻️🌿, gaining new skills 📚✨ and unforgettable experiences 🤩💚.

What a great BBQ gathering! 🔥🍔☀️

Despite the unpredictable weather 🌦️, our end-of-year BBQ turned out to be a real success. Thanks to the energy, enthusiasm, and determination of our students 💪🎉, nothing could stop us from making it happen!

It was wonderful to bring together first-, second-, and third-year students 🤝📚, making the event a special farewell to our graduating third-year groups 🎓. They treated everyone to delicious homemade cakes 🥧 🍰 that quickly became the highlight of the afternoon.

The BBQ also gave students and lecturers a chance to meet in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere 😊, share experiences, reflect on the past academic year 💭, and celebrate everything we achieved together 🎉.

The battle to start the fire was real 🔥😅, but thanks to our most persistent students, the flames were finally lit, warming both the food and the atmosphere of the day 🌭🔥. It was a wonderful opportunity to exchange stories, memories, and experiences from the past year and to celebrate our community ❤️.

A special thank you to Magda Pawłowicz 👏 for her help in organizing the meeting and everyone who joined us and helped create such a memorable gathering! 💙

We are proud to see our team member’s passion and expertise in drama 🎭 reaching beyond the classroom 👏 Good luck Basia Osypowicz Struk and Faustyna Wojdakowska

Dziś koordynator naszego projektu „Lato w Teatrze 2026” – Marek – wyrusza do Kazimierza Dolnego na szkolenie organizowane w ramach projektu Lato w teatrze.

To ważny krok w przygotowaniach do wakacyjnych działań, które już niebawem zrealizujemy dla dzieci ze Szkoła Podstawowa w Sławatyczach.

Z radością przedstawiamy również cały skład osób, które będą prowadzić zajęcia podczas naszego projektu.

30 kwietnia 2026 r. w Akademia Bialska odbyła się lekcja języka angielskiego pt. „Never Give Up! You can do anything!” ✨📚

Naszymi gośćmi byli uczniowie klasy 7 ze Szkoły Podstawowej w Sławacinku 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

W ramach działalności Studenckiego Koła Naukowego Anglistów lekcję przygotowała i poprowadziła Karolina Wojczuk - absolwentka filologii angielskiej I stopnia, a obecnie studentka ekonomii AB.

Lekcja oparta na piosence Son of Man autorstwa Phil Collins ze ścieżki dźwiękowej filmu Tarzan 🦍🎶 bardzo spodobała się młodzieży. A tak BTW - poradzili sobie świetnie! 👏🔥

Mamy nadzieję, że motywacyjny charakter naszej lekcji pokazowej wzmocnił wiarę uczniów we własne możliwości 💪🌟

Wszystkich zainteresowanych rozwijaniem talentów językowych zapraszamy do nas w przyszłości 🤗🇬🇧 Filologia angielska stoi otworem! Cheers! 🥳✨

On April 30, 2026, we held an inspiring English lesson titled “Never Give Up! You Can Do Anything!” at Akademia Bialska✨📚

Our special guests were 7th-grade students from Szkoła Podstawowa w Sławacinku 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

As part of the activities of the English Club the lesson was prepared and conducted by Karolina Wojczuk 🎓💙 - a graduate of the BA programme in Filologia angielska AB and currently an Economics student at AB.

Inspired by Phil Collins’s song "Son of Man" from Tarzan 🦍🎶, the class turned out to be both motivating and great fun. And BTW - the students did an amazing job! 👏🔥

We hope the positive message of our lesson helped boost the students’ confidence and reminded them that they really can achieve a lot 💪🌟

To everyone passionate about developing their language skills - our doors are always open 🤗🇬🇧 English philology is waiting for you. Cheers! 🥳✨

🌍✈️ From 4–8 May, Barbara Struk PhD and Anna Sawczuk MA from Filologia angielska AB at Akademia Bialska took part in an inspiring teaching mobility within the Erasmus+ Programme at Istanbul Aydın University. They were warmly welcomed by the coordinators and academic staff 🤝📚, which made this experience both professionally and personally rewarding.

👩‍🏫👨‍🏫 During the visit, they had the opportunity to teach Turkish students, as well as observe classes conducted by fellow academics. The mobility was also a wonderful chance to exchange ideas 💡, share teaching practices 📖, and strengthen international cooperation 🌐.

🕌✨ Beyond the university experience, the stay offered an opportunity to discover Turkish culture and explore the unique beauty of Istanbul - a fascinating city connecting two continents 🌉, rich in history, traditions, and unforgettable landmarks ❤️
