Stanley, a po co ci ta szkoła...?
Po wielokroć! Ale najbardziej z umiłowania wolności i literatury. To bezpieczna przestrzeń - dla Uczniów, Lektorów i dla mnie. To tutaj możemy wszystko.
Zobacz:
Nieważne w imię czego, pamiętaj, że:
🇬🇧 "Never think that war, no matter how necessary nor how justified, is not a crime." (From For Whom the Bell Tolls - Ernest Hemingway)
Choć będą próbowali Cię zmylić:
🇬🇧 “War is peace. / Freedom is slavery. / Ignorance is strength.” (1984 - George Orwell)
Usłysz, że:
🇬🇧 "Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that." (Martin Luther King Jr. - A Testament of Hope: The Essential Writings and Speeches)
I choć nigdy nie będziemy tacy sami, to dla wszystkich jest tutaj dużo miejsca:
🇬🇧 "You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us. And the world will live as one." (John Lennon - Dreamer)
Umrę za to, ale nie będę zabijał:
🇬🇧 "There are perhaps many causes worth dying for, but to me, certainly, there are none worth killing for." (Albert Dietrich - Army GI, Pacifist CO: The World War II Letters of Frank Dietrich and Albert Dietrich)
To nie my tego chcieliśmy, my nie mieliśmy wyboru:
🇬🇧 "We are / Born like this / Into this / Into these carefully mad wars / Into the sight of broken factory windows of emptiness / Into bars where people no longer speak to each other / Into fist fights that end as shootings and knifings / Born into this / Into hospitals which are so expensive that it’s cheaper to die / Into lawyers who charge so much it’s cheaper to plead guilty / Into a country where the jails are full and the madhouses closed / Into a place where the masses elevate fools into rich heroes"( Charles Bukowski)
Morderca nie jest bohaterem:
🇬🇧 "It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets." (Voltaire)
Żeby nie było, że nie ostrzegali:
🇬🇧 "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." (Albert Einstein)
Bo jesteś wolny jak ptak:
🇬🇧 "I am no bird; and no net ensnares me: I am a free human being with an independent will." (Charlotte Brontë - Jane Eyre)
Karm tego dobrego wilka:
🇬🇧 "A fight is going on inside me," said an old man to his son. "It is a terrible fight between two wolves. One wolf is evil. He is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The other wolf is good. he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you."
The son thought about it for a minute and then asked, "Which wolf will win?"
The old man replied simply, "The one you feed." (Wendy Mass - Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life)
Doceniam, że dotrwałeś i dziękuję.
Stanley
