🇵🇱 SIMs Job Shadowing in Poland has officially begun
As a coordinating organisation of the Erasmus+ KA220 project “Social Inclusion Models in Youth Work”, we have launched the Job Shadowing mobility in Łódź, welcoming youth workers from 🇮🇹 🇪🇸 🇷🇴 🇬🇷.
Hosted by Europejska Fundacja Rozwoju Człowieka, the afternoon marked the starting point of a structured and immersive learning journey focused on social inclusion in youth work.
During the welcome session at EuroFRC’s offices, participants were introduced to the SIMs framework, the agenda of the mobility, and the methodology guiding the experience by Board Members and the EuroFRC Crew. Particular attention was given to reflection on the project and its history within EuroFRC, how we are working on social inclusion methods and what we are researching at this moment.
A special time was dedicated to sharing: our dear Shadowers went into InterCultural Coffee Break and NGO Market, telling us about them, about their profiles and their relation with the Sending Organisation. A top moment!
This Job Shadowing will be about observing practices and understanding how inclusion is implemented in real contexts, exchanging perspectives, and preparing for the transfer of knowledge into local realities across Europe.
A first step into a shared European journey for more inclusive youth work.
See you tomorrow!

What about hostile environment and strategies to respond to that?
This month, the Europejska Fundacja Rozwoju Człowieka (EuroFRC) team took part in HEATEX 3.0 – Hostile Environment Awareness Training for Youth Exchanges, organised by YEWB Organisation in Nyon, Switzerland, under the Erasmus+ Programme 🇨🇭
Bringing together partners from across Europe and beyond (including Cyprus, Croatia, Moldova, Armenia, Poland, Italy, Georgia, Romania, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), the training focused on strengthening youth workers’ capacity to navigate complex and rapidly evolving international contexts. 🔎
In a world shaped by uncertainty, geopolitical tensions, and increasing risks, HEATEX 3.0 provided practical tools for structured decision-making, crisis management, and safe project implementation. Through simulations and hands-on sessions, participants explored real-life scenarios related to logistics, conflict management, and communication under pressure.
We are especially proud to highlight that our Executive Director, Bartek Gradecki, contributed to the programme with a dedicated professional workshop on the relevance and accurate use of Artificial Intelligence in today’s hostile environments, reflecting on both opportunities and ethical responsibilities for youth work. 😊👏🇵🇱
The training also played a key role in shaping the upcoming AZNAVOUR 2026 Youth Exchange, strengthening international cooperation and co-creating impactful educational pathways for young people.
A meaningful step forward in building resilient, informed, and future-oriented youth work. 🌍
We are extremely thankful for our colleagues a YEWB and to the Erasmus+ NA Movetia for supporting youth work and its rapidly evolving scenarios. 🇨🇭🇪🇺🇵🇱
EuroFRC is now ready to continue the great work ahead and invite to further applications our dear colleagues in Poland!
