⛷️ Podsumowanie lutego ⛷️

Luty tradycyjnie upłynął nam pod znakiem zimowej sesji egzaminacyjnej oraz ferii. W naszym warsztacie nie działo się za wiele - nasi członkowie skupiali się na jak najlepszym przygotowaniu do egzaminów, by uniknąć braków. 📚

A właśnie dzisiaj zaczęliśmy nowy semestr! Jego pierwsze tygodnie będą dla nas wyjątkowo pracowite - już za 2,5 miesiąca zaczynamy bowiem sezon zawodów. Trzymajcie kciuki za utrzymanie tak pięknej pogody, byśmy mogli rozpocząć pierwsze testy możliwie wcześnie. 📈 ☀️

W lutym udało nam się wziąć udział w wydarzeniu , podczas którego gościem specjalnym był Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski - spotkaliśmy się z młodzieżą ze szkół średnich i zachęcaliśmy ich do wyboru Politechniki Łódzkiej oraz zainteresowaniu się Kołami Naukowymi. Mamy nadzieję, że część z odwiedzających nasze stoisko zobaczymy już niedługo w naszym Kole! 🏎️

February was traditionally marked by winter exams and winter break. Not much happened in our workshop – our members focused on preparing for their exams as best they could to avoid failing. 📚

And today we started a new semester! The first few weeks will be particularly busy for us, as the competition season starts in just 2.5 months. Keep your fingers crossed for the beautiful weather to continue so that we can start the first tests as early as possible. 📈 ☀️

In February, we had the opportunity to participate in the AI Space Heroes event, where Sławosz Uznański was a special guest. We met with secondary school students and encouraged them to choose the Lodz University of Technology and take an interest in Science Clubs. We hope to see some of the visitors to our stand in our Club soon! 🏎️

⛷️ Rückblick auf den Februar ⛷️

Der Februar stand traditionell im Zeichen der Winterprüfungssession und der Ferien. In unserer Werkstatt war nicht viel los – unsere Mitglieder konzentrierten sich darauf, sich bestmöglich auf die Prüfungen vorzubereiten, um keine Engpässe zu riskieren. 📚

Und heute haben wir ein neues Semester begonnen! Die ersten Wochen werden für uns besonders arbeitsreich sein, denn in nur 2,5 Monaten beginnt die Wettkampfsaison. Drückt uns die Daumen, dass das schöne Wetter anhält, damit wir so früh wie möglich mit den ersten Tests beginnen können. 📈 ☀️

Im Februar konnten wir an der Veranstaltung AI Space Heroes teilnehmen, bei der Sławosz Uznański als besonderer Gast anwesend war. Wir haben uns mit Jugendlichen aus weiterführenden Schulen getroffen und sie ermutigt, sich für die Technische Universität Łódź zu entscheiden und sich für wissenschaftliche Arbeitsgemeinschaften zu interessieren. Wir hoffen, dass wir einige der Besucher unseres Standes bald in unserer Arbeitsgemeinschaft wiedersehen werden! 🏎️

🪘 Czas na zaprezentowanie zespołu na 2026 rok! 🪘

Przy okazji damy wam trochę liczb związanych z naszą październikową rekrutacją - końcówka sesji to czas, kiedy realnie jesteśmy w stanie określić, kto z nami zostanie na stałe. Pierwsza sesja to bowiem dla większości studentów czas weryfikacji czy studia spełniają ich oczekiwania, a po kilku miesiącach działalności w Kole są już w stanie stwierdzić czy to dla nich. 🔄
I mamy sukces! W sezon 2026 wkraczamy z 42 członkami, z czego 15 osób to nowi członkowie - to dla nas bardzo dobry wynik! 🥇

We'll also give you some figures related to our October recruitment - the end of the semester is when we can realistically determine who will stay with us permanently. For most students, the first semester is a time to verify whether their studies meet their expectations, and after a few months of activity in the Club, they are able to decide whether it's right for them. 🔄
And we are successful! We are entering the 2026 season with 42 members, 15 of whom are new members - this is a very good result for us! 🥇

Bei dieser Gelegenheit geben wir Ihnen einige Zahlen zu unserer Rekrutierung im Oktober – am Ende des Semesters können wir realistisch einschätzen, wer dauerhaft bei uns bleiben wird. Każdy z pojazdów ma już bowiem dedykowany pod siebie stół z magazynem najważniejszych komponentów, który służy nie tylko w naszym warsztacie, ale także podczas zawodów. Ponadto są tak skonstruowane, by umożliwiały transport pojazdów, co sprawia że logistyka okołozawodowa jest o wiele łatwiejsza! Odpowiednie oznaczenie miejsc magazynowych w stołach stało się wisienką na torcie – teraz każdy wie, w którym miejscu znajdzie niezbędne do pracy komponenty. 🍒 🔎

As every year, on 19 February, we celebrate Polish Science Day. We are proud that as a Student Research Club we can be a part of it! Every year, we strive to be able to say that we contribute to Polish science, and in 2025 we were particularly successful in this regard. We would like to thank the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for supporting us in this aspect and we are proud to announce:
1️⃣ the publication of two scientific articles on the analysis of heat exchange processes in the engine of our Eco Arrow 3 - both are available in Open Access, so each of you can read them, which we encourage you to do - https://doi.org/10.3390/en18236195 (Energies, 140 points according to the list of peer-reviewed journals and conferences of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education) and https://doi.org/10.29284/ijasis.12.1s.2026.233-245 (International Journal of Advances in Signal and Image Sciences, 11.6 points according to Scopus CiteScore)
2️⃣ presenting two papers at international scientific conferences - on the topics of the above-mentioned articles at the International Conference on Heat Transfer and Fluid Mechanics (Copenhagen, Denmark) and on the technology of manufacturing advanced composite structures at Engineering Polymers and Composites (Szczyrk, Poland)

And even though we are not planning any conference presentations this year, we are not stopping our research! It is an indispensable part of our work and the development of our vehicles. 📈

Wie jedes Jahr feiern wir am 19. Februar den Tag der polnischen Wissenschaft. Wir sind stolz darauf, dass wir als studentischer Wissenschaftskreis daran teilhaben dürfen! Jedes Jahr bemühen wir uns, einen Beitrag zur polnischen Wissenschaft zu leisten, und im vergangenen Jahr 2025 ist uns dies besonders gut gelungen. Mechanicy, elektronicy i programiści skupiali się nad zakończeniem najważniejszych prac przed początkiem sesji zimowej. 📊 ✅

The marketing department also began work on extending and establishing new partnerships for the coming year. Przychodzimy ze znakomitymi wieściami – otrzymaliśmy wyniki oceny merytorycznej w ramach projektu „Wsparcie studentów w zakresie podniesienia ich kompetencji i umiejętności”!

We are coming with excellent news – we have received the results of the substantive evaluation within the project “Support for students in improving their competencies and skills”!
Our project has received funding from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in the amount of 322,047.36 PLN. 💰🎓

These funds will be used not only to improve our vehicles, but above all will allow for comprehensive training of our team members. This will certainly contribute to better results in the future. Thanks to the obtained grant, we are planning to participate in 2 eco-marathons! 📊🌍

Wir kommen mit hervorragenden Neuigkeiten – wir haben die Ergebnisse der fachlichen Bewertung im Rahmen des Projekts „Unterstützung von Studierenden bei der Verbesserung ihrer Kompetenzen und Fähigkeiten“ erhalten!

Przełom roku to dla nas okres sprawozdawczy 📝

W związku z tym chcielibyśmy raz jeszcze podziękować Ministerstwu Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego za nieocenione wsparcie w minionym, 2025, roku. Dzięki finansowaniu w wysokości ponad 300 000 zł mogliśmy:
✅ wziąć udział w 3 konkursach o zasięgu międzynarodowym,
✅ przygotować nasze pojazdy do rywalizacji, co pozwoliło nam na ustanowienie kolejnego Rekordu Polski,
✅ stworzyć 3 publikacje i wystąpić z nimi na 2 konferencjach naukowych,
✅ opublikować jedną z nich w czasopiśmie Energies (punktowanych na 140 pkt. wg wykazu czasopism naukowych i recenzowanych materiałów z konferencji międzynarodowych),
✅ poszerzyć swoje kompetencje poprzez szkolenia z zakresu:
☑️ modelowania 3D (CAD) w programach Autodesk Inventor i Autodesk Fusion
☑️ komputerowego wsparcia procesów wytwarzania (CAM) w programie Autodesk Fusion
☑️ analiz numerycznych procesów wymiany ciepła w programie ANSYS Fluent
☑️ spawania metodami MIG, MAG i TIG
☑️ laminowania kompozytów na bazie włókien węglowych
☑️ strojenia silników spalinowych
✅ wzbogacić swoje kompetencje miękkie poprzez zarządzanie projektami, udział w zawodach oraz kontakt z zespołami i naukowcami z wielu krajów Europy i świata.

Projekty ministerialne zawsze są dla nas sporym wyzwaniem, każdorazowo dającym nam nowe umiejętności. Dziękujemy za zaufanie! 📈

The turn of the year is a reporting period for us 📝

For this reason, we would like once again to thank the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for its invaluable support in the past year, 2025. Thanks to funding of over PLN 300,000, we were able to:
✅ take part in 3 international competitions,
✅ prepare our vehicles for competition, which allowed us to set another Polish Record,
✅ create 3 publications and present them at 2 scientific conferences,
✅ publish one of them in the journal Energies (scored at 140 points according to the list of scientific journals and reviewed materials from international conferences),
✅ expand our competencies through training in:
☑️ 3D modeling (CAD) using Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Fusion,
☑️ computer-aided manufacturing processes (CAM) in Autodesk Fusion,
☑️ numerical analysis of heat transfer processes in ANSYS Fluent,
☑️ MIG, MAG and TIG welding methods,
☑️ laminating carbon-fiber-based composites,
☑️ tuning internal combustion engines,
✅ enhance our soft skills through project management, participation in competitions, and contact with teams and scientists from many countries across Europe and the world.

Ministerial projects are always a major challenge for us, each time providing new skills. Thank you for your trust! 📈

Der Jahreswechsel ist für uns eine Berichtszeit 📝

Daher möchten wir uns erneut beim Ministerium für Wissenschaft und Hochschulbildung für die unschätzbare Unterstützung im vergangenen Jahr 2025 bedanken. Dank einer Finanzierung von über 300.000 PLN konnten wir:
✅ an 3 Wettbewerben mit internationaler Reichweite teilnehmen,
✅ unsere Fahrzeuge auf den Wettbewerb vorbereiten, was es uns ermöglichte, einen weiteren polnischen Rekord aufzustellen,
✅ 3 Publikationen erstellen und diese auf 2 wissenschaftlichen Konferenzen präsentieren,
✅ eine davon in der Zeitschrift Energies veröffentlichen (bewertet mit 140 Punkten gemäß der Liste der wissenschaftlichen Zeitschriften und begutachteten Materialien aus internationalen Konferenzen),
✅ unsere Kompetenzen durch Schulungen in folgenden Bereichen erweitern:
☑️ 3D-Modellierung (CAD) in den Programmen Autodesk Inventor und Autodesk Fusion,
☑️ rechnergestützte Fertigungsprozesse (CAM) im Programm Autodesk Fusion,
